Iva Zannichi and Tereza shared the International Prize of Critics at the International Festival held in Mexico in 1970. In 1969. Tereza won together with Claudio Villa in International Split (Spalato) Festival in Croatia with the song Nono, moj dobri nono, translated to Italian as Il tuo mondo.
In recent years she usually sings French version and then in the last chorus she continues in Italian, and I agree with you it sounds even better in Italian.
To Demain 65. I looked in your favorites and heard senza te sung by Tereza. Unfortunately, it's only the chorus. Is there a full-length version somewhere out there?
From the little that I heard, she is much better in the Italian version.
Sorry guys, I didn't think you would take this personally. In my view, however, the singing is ordinary and the musical arrangement is frankly boring and predictable. I persist in believing that the best rendition so far was from the original composer of the song, Claudio baglioni. Some songs were made to be sung in a particular language and with a particular type of voice.
I listened to other songs sung by Tereza and I agree that she is very good. However, she does a very poor job in this song. Also, this song was not made for her. It's like asking Luciano pavarotti to sing the rolling stones.
This sounds like a cabaret version of one of the great Italian songs. This rendition is simply awful, bereft of feeling, void of any passion. What is more, she is often off-key.
Do yourselves a fvaour and listen to the passionate rendition of the author in Italian.
Tereza Kesovija is the biggest star of Croatia and former Yugoslavia and among other she sang many Italian songs in original and in French and Slavic languages.
I am sure that great artist Claudio Baglioni was very content when she recorded his Sabato pomeriggio in French in 1978, for Sonopresse. This version was quite popular both in former Yugoslavia and in France. This live TV version was made in 2005!
Mamma mia, Baglioni in francese? Chapeau a' cette chanteuse. We may not like each other, but the truth is that we have the same Latin soul and love and understand romantic songs.
Yet another idiot got something to comment. Salvatore, please behave yourself...

I respect your admiration for signor Baglioni but when we are talking about emotions than Tereza is no.1
There is no doubt about that.Maybe you don´t understand the meaning of such words like "passion" ,"feelings"...
There are no facts against Tereza.

first of all it's Baglioni not Baglion and he wrote this and many other masterpieces. What has this Mamma Tereza done?
