I went on a holiday to the US, and would like my pictures to be in subfolders. Each subfolder should be 1 day of pictures. How can I do this? So How can I create subfolders?
The solution to your problem: either move your entire iPhoto library to an external hard drive, or get Aperture.
iPhoto necessarily imports images into it's own library. You can move that library in it's entirety to any drive, or you could even create a new library (as many as you'd like, but that gets messy) by holding down option as you start up iPhoto.
when i import photos it dumps the files on to the main HHD how can i leave everything on my second hard drive?? and browse it in iphoto??? basically not clogging the main HHD????? tx.
