If they dont like what the government is doing, they attack the currency. It is this VIRTUAL PARLIAMENT that undermines the power of the American people to have a government that works for them.

the whole discussion of whether or not the media are too liberal is a distraction AWAY from the fact that it is not liberal. It's a complete myth!
Saying the media are liberal just because 80% of journalists supposedly vote Democrat is like saying that workers on the factory floor decide what the car industry produces!
It wouldn't matter if 99% of journalists belonged the Socialist Workers party, it still doesn't say anything about the media product.

It's a known fact that most journalists are liberal, a person would have to be blind not to see it, On CNN coverage they did a comparison of the Clinton and Obama swearing in coverage, then compared them to Reagan and Bush, there were stark differences... before Cable news, America was force fed liberal news for years, then Fox comes along with a conservative slant and the democrats have a hissy fit, we conservatives have 1 network compared to dozens of liberal channels.

You have to realize that conservatives expect most of the media to be liberal and pro democratic, it's what we expect, thats why Fox's rating trump CNN or MSNBC every night... It's no big mystery to us, and we have our network.... In talk radio conservatism totally trounce liberal talk radio, which is very boring, Air America was a flog, where as conservative talk radio is very, very popular.... The numbers speak for themselves..

and you have to understand that if you want to understand the way some system works, you look at its institutional structure, how it's organized, how it's controlled, how it's funded, and so on. You do not look at the workers on the factory floor (journalists), to look for irrelevant evidence about party affiliation.
The real question to ask is: Are the media by their institutional structure, free to allow expression of opinion from whatever source?
The clear answer is a resounding "no"

My exposure of the fraud that the two-party system is makes sense because it's a simple observation of the truth. It's part of how I expose yet another myth. I it made a point show that there's no such thing as the "liberal media" to refute the idea that Obama is a "media creation."
Bobby Jindal is a "free market" rhetoric Republican. It doesn't matter where he's from. At the end of the day, he's for socialized cost, socialized risk, and privatized profit

This is a discussion about the myth of the "liberal media." The truth of the matter is that Republicans & Democrats are, effectively speaking, different factions of the same political party: The Business Party. So it wouldn't matter if journalists belong to one faction or the other

Republicans aren't the party of free markets. Democrats aren't a truly center-left political party. They BOTH serve business interest

I agree with you about the Republicans who spout off about fiscal responsibility and free markets, blah blah blah, but take actions utterly against those two things, but Democrats are extremely far to the left. The Democratic party is now socialist at it's core, and only halfheartedly tries to hide it. They're socialists that use clever terminology--"ecomnomic stimulus", "bailout", etc. They certainly serve business interests, but also most definitely have a socialist agenda.

Democrats are only far to the left in terms of rhetoric, and that's just for right now. They have to act like extremists to make themselves look different from Republicans. Dems make a lot of far-left noise, but they're policies tend to be moderately conservative. Obama, if you think about it, ran as a kind of conservative. Even the Clinton administration's fiscal policy was influenced by fiscal conservatism.
Republicans really need to live up to the free market ideas they pretend to be for.

Jindal would do well to get behind Huckabee in 2012! If Huckabee gets the nomination Jindal would likely be the vp. It would be better for Jindal to get 2 terms as Governor under his belt before running for pres. His is too young. Huckabee has earned his place in the Republican party and it is his time. If Jindal gets behind Huck, he will "inherit" Huck's supporters. If he does not, he will split the vote....again and we will get another moderate for the nominee.

I was not a big fan of Palin or Huckabee in the first place.
Bobby Jindal is my 2nd republican candidate that I will proudly support him,if or when he decided 2 run on a national ticket.

I agree. Palin was thoroughly trashed by the media, and came off as uniformed and naive. Although I like her, I just don't believe she has any chance. Jindal is the Republican party's best hope. He's brilliant and represents true conservativism. Also, he won't pimp pro-life votes then take Planned Parenthood donations under the table the way other Republicans do b/c he sincerely is anti-abortion.

I totally disagree. The GOP has this fucked up system of giving the guys with more seniority the nomination. That's why Dole and McCain got nominated, and look where their campaigns went. Huckabee wouldn't win; the Dems would just call him a dumb redneck fundie Christian. The Dems didn't go with seniority in 2008; they went with a fresh face, and they won big time. The GOP has to go with Jindal. He's young. He's brilliant. He's their best chance.

Hussein is already talked about another $1 trillion stimulus package on top of $168 this summer and on top of $850 billion bail out 4 walls st. and he wanted 2 give 47 million people a free healthcare and give 95% people a tax cut in the next 4 yrs. I don't think anyone is "worried" about Piuysh Jindal. Certainly not President Obama and his new administration. Not even Flip Flop Car salesman Romney and his dyed hair is worried. I doubt Jindal will run in 2012 if Obama is doing a good job as President. That is why Bush didn't run against Clinton in '96, even though he was being pushed and the GOP ended up with Dole. Dispite the scandals, Clinton had a very high approval rating when he ran for re-election. Sooooo...see ya in 2016. hahahahaha
