  • ooh...i so want to watch perfect strangers right now.

    *sigh*

they just don't make theme songs like they used to...

  • You are so right, Perfect Strangers had a great theme song. :-)

    -Eric

  • Neon's rock my socks!!! What color is your Neon? Mine's a purple 97 four-door.

  • Mine's a blue (Best Buy blue), although some people seem to confuse it with purple. 96' four door. :-)

    -Eric

  • Anna was very cute to see!

I'd maybe care about Evangelion if they were remaking it with new animation, etc. And if Shinji wasn't such a whiny bitch.

I was singing that song at ACME tonight, and others started singing along :-)

The irony of driving a Neon while talking about Neon Genesis did not escape me :-)

  • Which song were you singing? The Perfect Strangers theme song? Can't Smile Without You? The Transformers theme? Fly me to the Moon?

  • I sang the Perfect Strangers song. Others started singing along, it was great.

  • Hehe, I'm surprised you didn't get in an accident:P

Oooh, New Evangelion trailer? Izzat the one with Utada Hikaru singing?

Is Minneapolis where they have the huuuuge mall? <('.'<)

    -Frank

  • So am I. Actually, filming this wasn't what caused me to almost get into an accident, it was me being sleep deprived. I just finished a full shift at the station before leaving.

That is indeed Utada Hikaru singing. She's responsible for the 1st movie's theme song.

Well technically the Mall of America is in Bloomington (a suburb) it is in the Twin Cities area. :-)

  • yay!!! road trips.

    but what are your SNACKS???

  • for this trip I didn't bring any. Shocking, I know. I had already filled up on Honey nut cheerios before leaving the house, so I really didn't need any munchables. But I did stop by the Mickey D's about half way through the trip.

  • Transformers kick ass! Awesome perfect strangers parody!!

  • They most certainly do! I'm also glad you were able to stomach my singing. ;-)

  • that was fun to watch, good work, Eric. Hope you enjoy your trip!

  • Nice shot through the steering wheel. Enjoy your vacation E!

  • Would you believe that this entire episode was shot on my Canon Powershot SD1000, instead of my Canon GL1!? The size of that digital camera made that shot possible. I had always wanted to pull off that shot. Yay!

  • That explains it. Filming in the car by yourself (I've tried it recently) is really hard! Any tips Eric? And what about the steady cam tutorial? I'm looking at you my friend to help a amateur director hobbyist out!

  • The Steadycam episode is slated for Nov 14. the main reason for this is it's really involved and I will need an entire weekend to film it, the weekend before is the next weekend i'll have off of work.

In the mean time. You have inspired me. I think I'll do an episode on how to film in a car. :-)

  • That's awesome, I just filmed a commercial audition with my SD1000, and ended it with a shot thru the steering wheel. Hope it turns out...
