@Urflust I often find that it ends up playing a lot when one side or the other is getting crushed, just because of the amount of time that tends to take. It's pretty darn epic to get that segment going when your cavalry are riding down THOUSANDS of retreating enemies.

This piece is great too but the most breathtaking part of medieval 2 is the Crusade video during the campaign where the scholar is talking and this army is marching and the camera zooms out and it reveals the army is marching in the form of a cross. Astounding scene.

Killed the faction leader who had TWELVE hitpoints and five of his generals just by using my trebuchets and cannon towers, while sneaking my cavalry out of a side gate and smashing into their flank. oh come on if you wanna win, use TACTICS for god sake, i mean its really easy if you flanl their spearwalls with horses and then move with the final kill with the heavy infantry while the archers take care of the remainder, btw 8 horses, 4 infanrt and 4 archers and youve got the batle :P work exacly the same as in rome, unfortunately my computer sux so i cant play the battles anymore :(

And after many years of roman ways, the empire crumbled, and the last "Roman" empire is byzantium Empire. With the city Constantinople, as its citadel :)

@zesusdk Actually I am quite good at history. But I don't know how good you are when it comes to Roman history. Let me clarify that. SPQR is not a kingdom. She was more like a republic. Yes, there was a kingdom but it existed only before SPQR. Most of the people like myself think that the Roman Empire was not that old Roman Empire after accepting Christianity as official religion. So I don't think the eastern empire with heavily Greek influence can be called true Roman Empire!

The westerns were the mostly "pure" romans. as you say, is The Eastern province of the empire fluents of greek/roman. Still they were romans. As I mentioned Rome was never be the same after declaring Christianity as the official religion. The empire's culture had begun to erode slowly after that.
