  • heavy 6...light 3

  • Those wanna 1/4 estimate calculators are fairly accurate. Which in racing terms means a waste of time and money. Just go race it. Pics of slips are what matters. Especially for a Speed 6

  • O and by the way I have a 2006 Speed 6 as well.

  • Wow dude. Go to the track and bring me your time slip thar says high 13s at best fir a stock speed 6. I have a Cobb APT stage 2, 3" autoexe TMIC, stage 2 clutch, SU race pipe, forged bpv, sure motorsports aeros intake and more shit. I run 12s. BUT POINT IS UR WANNABE 1/4 ESTIMATE IS WAY OFF. and u cant prove otherwise

  • @mlgmeyers My speed6 at the time was hardly stock, we both know a CAI will add a relatively significant amount of power for a simple bolt on and a test pipe just gives better low end grunt. Will i hit 13.39 with those mods? definitely not. In terms of bringing you a slip with 13's on it with a stock ms6? That will basically be impossible because im running stage 2 now also, but the only difference is that i have a CPE Downpipe instead of the SU TP.

  • @mlgmeyers From the mods that you describe you cant be making more then 270AWHP without a protune, especially since you don't even have a DP(most restrictive part of our cars), and you are running 12's? You must be one hell of a driver. I will try to post slip times when i go to the track later this month.

  • @mlgmeyers garage419 proved that its pretty accurate

  • Thats about 1.5 seconds faster than my MZ6 V6, wish I had a Speed6...sigh...

  • i did this too! except i've only tried it once, at night, and was kinda scared to go past 100 on a non-highway street at night at those speeds, so i got 15.3 seconds on my 1/4 mile. but once i re-do it ill post my times

  • nice driving on the speed, try not to total it, there's only so many around. ;-)

  • I like your style kid. I do the exact same as you except I'm computer engineering and a Sonata V6. I'll be trading for a Speed6 in about 3 days. I love dynolicious, love the PJ's and love the car. Kudos.

  • Personally I don't care if your parents bought it, or you bought it yourself. The bottom line is you didn't get a panzy car nor did you get a Goddang Cobalt SS or SRT-4. I'm not hating, but I don't like those teeny-bopper ricers. Too grunty.

Nice run! I have a 2009 Sonata V6 and when I run Dynolicious good luck getting any numbers that don't suck LOL. I'll be switching to an 07 Speed6 in a few days.

  • Nice run. I can't wait to get my Ipod so I too can practice on the street. Your car runs so good on bottom end with AWD. Nice run man.

  • You gotta love the haters man unlike some of the people that actuallly drive around with cars that there parents bought for them there or some people out there like us that actually work for ours so go eat a fat one hater @playa40fo

  • Listen to the bullshit these people have to say. Anyways, I sold my 2.3l Mazda but if I had found a used Speed 6 in my area I would have grabbed it in a heart beat. You did some VERY nice shifting, at the right point too with a stock turbo. =]

  • sick whip man!

  • If every1 knew that running times on the street are more accurate than running at the track. Then you would know that the times will be quicker. It's not easy launching at the track. I'm very sure his driving and his time were on par. But if this MS6 were to run at the track, it would of been more like a 13.8-13.9@99-101mph.

Launching at the track takes some skill and practice. Launching on asphalt road requires no skill. So i can see his times netting around a low 13 from his Dynolicious app

  • @Sp3edster01 can ask how launching on the street takes no skill? i believe u still have to worry about wheel hop/spin. if u could plz explain this to me i would love to know how launching at a track takes more skill that on the street..

  • @cblt2007 I can't explain. You just have to go to the track and see for yourself. In my old 2002 Sentra SE-R 5spd, i would out launch cars on the street even wrx's or be next to them and then pull up top since my SE-R was modded. I ran on Falken's. So these tires helped quite a bit.

Went 2 the track tried 2 launch the same as on the street. Nope just bogged off the line, had 2 launch higher. Launching on a track is different. It's not like launching on the street. Different asphalt engineering

  • Where did you mount your phone? In the tray ontop of the armrest? Or in the cup holder. I'm getting a mount for my iPod intergration kit, but I want to try it out now. O tried it in the cupholder and it didint pick ip until after 20 sec. Had passed

  • yo dynolicious is a fucking sick program yo, i find myself dyno'ing every1's car jsut for fun lol

  • it ain't nowhere as close to being accurate.

  • Im not surprised to see how ignorant people are these days. Just for your information..I used the money i earned from working at multiple restaurants as a bus boy to put the down payment. And used my summer internships at Civil engineer/ Construction firms to finance it. I recently graduate with my B.S in Civil engineering and will have paid off the car in 9 more months...thanks for watching... and hope your doing well in life.

  • @WelcomeToPrison told himm off real quick lol nice car and vid.

  • @WelcomeToPrison Dont listen to anyone on here. I'm with you, I worked my way up since I was 14 in a HVAC business, Now I'm BPI certified, and perform home energy audits on homes. I used my own money to buy a regular 2003 Mazda6, and will be trading it in for a Mazdaspeed6 this winter. Nice car :D

  • @playa40fo hah you were owned...chump

  • @melodica77 how was i owned you little bitch?? you dont even know what your saying nor do you know if what he is saying is true. not to mention my reply to his reply was deleted so hurry up and jerk off so we can get one more dumbass off the web..you got owned.. peace

  • @playa40fo not to mention, speed6's aren't exactly the most expensive tuner car out there. It's plenty possible for average people to work themselves up enough for a down payment. 20% of 17,000= $3400... $3400 for a down payment isn't the hardest of all things to get, unless you spend your money like a drunken sailor and piss your money into useless things.

  • @playa40fo whats wrong with that just cause u where a low life punk that dint go to school an still working a mcds

  • Great launch, great shifting, great time, but how accurate is that?

  • its proven to be very accurate.

  • says who lol? I'm not trying to be a douche just curious, Because the MS6 is fucking fast but not sure 13.3 basically stock kind of fast.

  • look it up..

  • not bad at all bro...

  • I think not. Put that car on a real dyno and he will be somewhere around 230 at the wheels and no where close to 13.39 on a real track.

  • I think I'll get this app.

  • I wouldn't drive the car like you are when your driving to the "Area." Seems like your trying to hear your intake /bpv on every shift. This car produces so much torque down low so everytime you do that your rods are taking a beating. its better to just let the engine rev to 4K than to push it even 1lb of boost under the powerband.

  • hmm interesting... ill remember that thanks!

  • how many HP??

  • im guessing around 300hp at the crank..

  • @oddy730 depending on the year if its an 06 than 274 07, 270

  • nice racing pants!

love the car, can't wait until I find one for myself. hard to find a white GT

  • nice!

  • i was thinking about downloading this app because the speedometer in my truck is broken. Is there an option where i can use it as a speedometer to see how fast im going at all times? thanks

  • As far as i know the dynolicious app can not tell real time speed of your car. But i think they have tons of other apps for that, and i think a lot are free. thanks for the view!

  • Nice shifting. Were you getting those "shift bangs??" Ive seen a bunch of "stock" speeds shifting hard and fast without engine mounts. If I did that in my speed 6 (before engine mounts) it would cause so much drivetrain lash (bang). Were you feathering the clutch on the shifts or just in and out as fast as you could ?

  • yeah actually i did get some shift bangs... it feels really bad... and i tend to avoid them. But i thought i might do it once, and try to get a good time haha. On the launch i did feather the clutch, that seems to be the best way for me to get a decent time.

  • thx for the response! Do you feather the clutch on your normal shifts or just "in and out" every shift as fast as you can.

  • Weak rear diff mount

  • thanks for the video, that seems pretty accurate, stock the car does about high 13s at 100 mph.

  • nice run. A more accuracy time would of been around a 13.9-14.1@99-100mph.

You're better off shifting at 6K rather than 5500rpms. I could see shifting to 5th and 6th at 5500rpms. But from 1st thru 4th should be around 5800-6Krpms. throttle plate doesn't close till after 6K.

  • thanks for the tip, ill try shifting at around 6k next time. yeah im guessing the time would be around 13.7-13.9. When i the run was over i checked the speedo at around 103-105 ish.

  • Yeah...I don't know about 13.3. That's a bit quick for your mods. These devices tend to read higher on awd cars due to the hard launch, which fools them into thinking that the car is faster than it really is.

    Also, lol pants.

    :)

  • i have cobb intake, cobb inlet pipe, and a motor mount, and i run 13.3. stock i ran 13.8.

  • Take those results with a grain of salt. It tries to simulate a 1/4 mile run as best as possible but its not that accurate.

  • yeah, i know its not exact. Im guessing it is within.. umm .1 or .2 of a second if correctly calibrated. garage419 actually tested this device and is pretty accurate but its whatever. thanks for watchin!

  • nice driving i raced one of these last week.. they are pretty quick

  • thanks! how did the race turn out?

  • off a dig they donkey stomp me cause i spin like a mother but off a 20 and 40 i pull like 2 cars ..

  • Nice pajamas

  • I Typed the 1/8Mile Wrong

its suppose to be 80.9MPH at 8.57 sec
