  • i don't like the suit and the morpher and the camera gun but i do like all the mecha and the sword. Overall, i'm not liking Go-buster so far but i will try to watch some episode to see if it is better than it looks.if i don't like it then i will only watch the megazord battle in each episode of this series because i like how the mecha has many forms to change to.

  • Did you manage to get yourself one?

  • @shaintheman

Not yet, but I'm working on it.

  • Not sure if anything was pointed out but the suits remind me more of a highly stylized stealthy mission ops type, oh of course in primary colors. The mecha, suits, and weapons, changers are really imaginative and some of the best I've seen as a whole since Gaoranger.

  • 3:30 Is that a rabbit over there?

  • EVA, the first cell phone was not the Gao Morpher, it was actually in English called the silver morpher from Power Rangers in Space. So I just thought that would be good to know. I saw in your Megablade review that you knew about that Shogun battleized red ranger from Power Rangers Samurai, and I do recommend it because I actually own it. I'm enjoying your videos and you inspired me to make my own. Thanks.

  • nice to see you got your own channel eva also i think the new megazord reminds me of thunder megazord

  • the watch thing is how they change..the glasses pops up and they look through it and i guess the suits comes out from it and well bam their gobusters xD

  • any news on when they release cause im not missing out on these bad boys lol

  • They say the phrase they are going to say when they henshin is "Let's Morphin"

  • henshin grid says there will be pink, green , and silver later on

  • the changer is SUNGLASSES?!?!

i just relised the logo is a circle with a checkmark in it

  • @UltraxMaximus the logo is actually a circle with sunglasses going across it

  • dued is go buster combining go onger and the animal stuff from the sun vulcan geki ranger and the animal super sentai etc.

  • oh b4 i forget check cstoys international on twitter and here on youtube they give demos of the products they recieve for thier store

  • whoa whoa whoa take a closer look at the pic of the three mecha combined as 1 the gorilla and the rabbit are armor add-ons

  • I read the story and to me it's the Japanese version of power rangers rpm

  • their suits look more like regular clothing with the jacket and the sunglasses. I am actually quite excited for this series. I can't wait for the 4th (5th, maybe 6th?) heroes.

  • It also looks like the individual "zord's" heads change into a ranger?? I guess that is is kinda cool. :P

  • The blue gorilla reminds me of gingarilla from gingaman and the yellow rabbit reminds me of The saru origami from shinkenger

  • you know watching this vid again those buddy mechas remind me of kamen rider dragon knight how some of the rider had buddy robos

  • @brollicon

They tried to do that with Engines, but we ended up with cutsy 3D holograms instead. If they can get the mecha to be a more reasonable human size (CGI, suits, marionettes, whatever), then the comparison will work better.

  • @EVAUnit4A From what I've seen from the promo, the animal robots are human-sized. And from what I've heard, the animals will transform into attachments for their vehicles that allow them to transform into the animal mechs.

  • looks like we got wrist morpher back

  • HELL YEAH! Wrist changers are back! I've been getting sick of cell phone changers.

  • When there evil monsters, in there neighborhood~

    who you gonna call? GOBUSTERS!!

  • i cannot make out how that henshin device is going to work. anyone know?

btw, the fact that their call out requires the word "morphin'" is two kinds of awesome. haha

  • @RollFilmProductions

The trans. orange is a pair of sunshades that are fixed to the device. When they henshin, the shades pop out and unfold. Then they hold them to their eyes and transform.

  • @EVAUnit4A hmm if you ask me, they are somewhat copying Jungle fury with that sunglasses gimmick.

  • @SandDeath24

Get this: the henshin call-out phrase- and I'm not joking- is, "It's Morphin Time!"

  • it was opration overdirve

  • Their outfits kind of give me a snake-eyes feel (goggles ver. in resolute, not visor)

  • Not only the the robots from Gobuster toys.

I wish Bandai will make a Playmovie of Gobuster

like they did with Boukenger and Go-onger. That could

be fun to play it but if your dvd have region 1 or 2.

    Merry Christmas

  • Gekiranger mixed with Go-Onger

  • i need to see this shows trailer!

  • for me they kinda look like gekiranger suits

  • Eva you are the best reviewer onyoutube your awsome!

  • @carralerobatista

    Thank you.

  • Great review I have to say the henshin devices are awesome.

  • Very trend-breaking designs. I like it. They look like they're wearing jackets lol.

  • @JVision1

Exactly! Complete with backpack straps over their shoulders and colored ski goggles!

  • @EVAUnit4A And most important of all: NO SPANDEX.

  • @JVision1

    Ohh, we'll see. We'll see.

  • @JVision1 it's leather haha

  • Can't wait.....!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of boukensilver's gogo changer.

  • gobuster -> go onger -> carranger -> turboranger

  • @MrPezzzz I guess but one thing I could never understand, the company that made rangers should be made rich. So why don't they make the zords and monsters 3D

  • The Gobusters are the future of the Power Rangers.

  • @Furbydude05 I mean:

    the Busters = The Rangers

    MorphinBrace = The Morpher

    GoBuster Oh = The Megazord

How else can you explain this?

  • With the rumor of a Black & Pink Ranger, I wonder if, mecha wise, will work the same way as in Go-Onger (arm swapping then make a second mecha). I wouldn't count out the clusterfuck formations quite yet.

  • Actually the last wrist morpher that didn't involve buttons was in Go-Onger (Green and Black).

  • ... sorry to disappoint, but i think he have headers again

  • @sableyefan

...At least the mecha don't look like they'll be boring.

  • @EVAUnit4A the poster reminds me of the gurren lagann poster were the main robot appears behind the characters

  • @EVAUnit4A bit so much pjs as they are hikeing close

  • and for the transformation looks like its gonna work like it did on "Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad" you know one main robo and the others become an armor

  • wow eva all your wishes (and mine too) came true, now we finaly got back true transforming robots and non cellphone henshing devices im looking forward to the reviews

oh and BTW the outfits are kinda cool

  • i got way too excited about the non-block transformation for the mecha. I've been deprived of complex transformations for so long...

  • This series is gonna be awsome!

  • I never understand sentai/ power rangers, they have the tech to transform into powerful suits. But their morphers are so out of date, get with the program go screen touch lol

  • @ampboiflorida

They did- kinda- with the SP License from "DekaRanger" (2004). It was implied to be a touch screen even though the props and toy did not act in such a way.

If it's too expensive to make and sell as a toy, then they won't use it in the show- that's why you don't see touch-screen phone changers in Super Sentai.

  • @EVAUnit4A so you mean they can't just make a toy that looks like a touch screen and have it made like a pop up when you do a command touch or something come on now lol they just lazy

  • @ampboiflorida

    >.>

...How much does a real touch-screen phone cost?

  • @ampboiflorida I'd give it another 5 years before we see either LED or Touch Screens getting the toy treatment, it'd just be too pricey nowdays.

  • what is gobusters theme?

  • @wildmuttben

Spies and tech gizmos. Previously we thought they were bounty hunters and ghost busters (hence the name), but that has proven to be in error.

  • the logo is the shades on the rangers face

  • we havent had a wrist henshin device until abaranger like with the whole team

  • The suits and mecha sort of remind me of the Sei Shin Series. If you ever seen Gransazer, Sazer X and Justirisers you'd know what I'm talking about.

  • lol i would call it Gobust-Oh

  • The visors are like kaimina shades. That is the most awesome thing ever

  • @LetMeRok

You re-post that spam shit one more time and I will ban you from posting to my channel ever again. You have obviously copied all of that from Go-Onger and I have deleted it as such. One more time, and you're through. Got it?

  • i feel its iffy im just not sure.

  • IT PREMIERES ON MY BIRTHDAY :D

  • i looks like its got a headder/minicon factor going for it too.

not sure if you touched on it cuz i just started but i wanted to say anyway >_>

  • Yeah, that's what I meant

  • I dunno much about Kamen Rider, but I hear that's where this Sentai season gets a lot of its influence. One of the older Riders is actually their mentor

  • @RedMonkey217

...Or rather, one of the Metal Heroes Series' characters is. "Space Sheriff Gavan" made a cameo in "Gokaiger", and the rumor is he is going to be part of this new series.

  • PARTS SWAPING AGAIN??? SON OF A BIG FAT BITCH

  • @koolkid9514

My initial reaction may be incorrect. While there are large holes on the front of the shoulders that haven't been explained (think Engine-Oh), it looks like just the gorilla and rabbit will break apart as part of the combo, using the cheetah as a central frame to build upon (Dairen-Oh).

  • @EVAUnit4A Oh ok thanks for the explanation

  • Some people are speculating that the gorilla and the rabbit attach onto the Cheetah's robot mode like armor to make BusterOh.

  • @Supnitle

That's what I'm wondering as well. I'm also wondering if our accessory mecha will be armor upgrades more reminiscent of the Power Animals- arms AND legs can swap?

  • WOW! Beast, Bot, Ride, and God. I think that's a first for Japan in general we didn't even see that in Transformers.

  • Looks like they are doing the robot partner thing again from Go-Onger and mixing a little Boukenger in there. The costumers could use some more work in my opinion. And the Robo should at least look like a cluster fuck until at least the third wave of merchandising, not the first.

  • Im.guessin the henshin is looking threw the device or spotin stuff

  • what website did you look at. I couldn't hear it properly

  • Which ep is Gokaiger at now?

  • The super sentais nowadays always start with go

  • @TheRapedInfernape but it have a new type of name unlike gers like goseigers they use names without that gers

  • do you think this is going to be a good series

  • Very Very interesting !!!! I realyy like e have my questions about the symbol ( go onge - boukenger ) on the red monkey robot i think this sentai is gonna be very different then oders !!!

  • sentai triple changers?!?!

  • @ThatLumpiaHustla

    O_o

That's nothing new. They've done it several times, the first time in "CarRanger".

  • @EVAUnit4A ok, you got a point. but they do look really cool

  • LoL!! U said interesting at least 100 times.... lol

  • so their gonna be the new super sentai. I think gokaiser are the best show they have done

  • Gobuster looks weird!

  • Omg!!!! My youtube unsubscribed me to cdx! I wondered y i didnt see some new vids! I gotta go catch up on them! My bad bro. :( but these look coolnand email me and we can skype sometime

  • gobuster logo uggh

  • I can see where the Metal Heroes inspiration is. They look like the rainbow children of Gavan.

  • I think the henshin device is a two part changer! I sooo love two part changers. I was getting tired of the phones. Lol I guess wave the watch infront of the glasses? Idk.. Whatever its still a two parter.

  • This is one of the first Sentai series that has me fully interested in a long time.

And no more cell phones. ^_^

  • THE THING POPPING OUT OF THE CHANGER IS A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES

  • @OOO19415

    No need to yell, dude.

  • @EVAUnit4A sorry, my caps lock was on. though the thing that popped out was a pair of sunglasses

  • @OOO19415

Ohh, I know that now, but I obviously didn't when I first saw it, as you heard here.

  • There not Quad changers those are there companions mecha and the mechas are different entirely and the companion mecha transform into there mecha consoles ready to see this Toukumei Sentai Gobuster

  • @thewhiteknightful

That's what I've heard as well.

My guess is this will be an alternate version of Boukenger, where they're constantly on the move, but have a base of operations to fall back to. ...Maybe it's more like Go-Onger then?

  • Sounds like Ghostbusters hehe :-p

  • @EVAUnit4A No, no, no; they would play light music, have an MP3 for a henshin device, and their weapons would double as working instruments! Am I the only who understands such a blatent reference to K-On!, a series I find inferior to Lucky Star and Rosario+Vampire?

  • @otaking3582

Ohh, as in "Kamen Rider Hibiki"? Yeah, I could see that happening in Super Sentai someday. Screw the multimedia players and cell phones, though- I want REAL instruments, not electronic recreations of sounds!

  • @EVAUnit4A Your avatar is the Eva that wasn't seen on screen, and you don't get it, do? K-ON! is an anime and term meaning "Light Music". In other words, they wouldn't dance to music; they would play music and use their instruments as weapons

  • Are you going to give a first episode reaction after it premiers on 26/02/2012?

  • japan is getting cheap lol

  • Truthfully, I really like Limb swapping, mainly cause of Goa Ranger, but I was not satisfied with Gojyujin Gokai-oh cause that was just Gokai-oh with Dinosaur parts for arms so I hope they do something amazing like Dai-Kai Shinken -oh here

  • @Titaniumconvoy

I forgot to mention that- is Kanzen Gokai-Oh the end of the Gokaiger toys?

  • Is the Red Ranger a Female? AWESOME! I ask because it looks like the suit has a skirt. if we get a serious official Female Red, that would Rock My WORLD! ( Kaoru was a great start, but she did only show up for a little while )

  • Sorry Birca, I believe it's a dude as usual

  • @Titaniumconvoy oh well, hopes for the future though :D

  • I'm pretty sure but it would be pretty cool!

  • @birca04

Japan is still too sexist, *from what I've heard*, to have a regular Red female.

And, no Buster Red does not have a skirt. It's a windbreaker just like the other two have.

  • @EVAUnit4A Oh yeah, I didn't look closely enough, your absolutely right about the Windbreakers.

  • The sword is the tail on the cheetah. Idk about other seasons, but the last time I saw that was the white tigerzord from mmpr season 2

  • @JJxSHIPMASTRxx112695

Wow, you're right! It was small enough in the picture I didn't notice that.

On second glance, it seems the hilt slides along the blade to form the spoiler, rather than having the blade detach and then reattach in a different way.

    Nice!

  • @EVAUnit4A Personally, while both of those themes have ran in mind, my favorite idea for a Sentai series is something out of left field. Since Kamen Rider Fourze feels like capitilization of Haruhi Suzumiya, Sentai should have something like that, only team oriented. And thus, the idea of "Rhythem Sentai K-ON!ger" was born

  • @otaking3582

"Dai Sentai Goggle V" used rhythmic gymnastics as their motif.

  • @otaking3582

I always wanted a music themed sentai. That and a wild west one with robot horses.

  • @VZMkII

I doubt a Wild West-themed series would hold much attention in Japan. Really, feudal times are their 'Wild West', so to use one from a different culture might not stick as easily as, say, Shinkenger did.

  • @EVAUnit4A

Eh, I see. Only because I'm getting a bit tired of seeing animal/vehicle hypbrids, I'd like to see something like Megaranger/Timeranger with ships/jets again. I think we're due.

  • Those outfits, and especially those colored visors, which we haven't seen since Timeranger on the main members (e.i. not Gokai Silver, Abare Killer, etc.) looks like a show made to cash in on Sentai instead of something made by Toei

  • What do you think of the new Tokumei Sentai Gobusters toys?

  • I am no sentai fan but I enjoy your reviews of them. Having said that, this new line looks like a big bucket of win! Triple-changing combiners?! Yes please! The new suits look cool as well, sort of a colorful snake-eyes thing going on.

    Good stuff eva!

One note, your volume is VERY low on this.

  • Abaranger was the last wrist with no keypad that i can remember

  • @DamenVain13

GekiRanger had their knuckle changers, which also didn't use keypads.

  • cool very cool and i would like to see you talk about the new youtube

  • One thing that concerns me. Headers.

Theses things have GoseiKnight like figure into head/cockpit transformers.

And it seems like each of the three ranger's mecha are gonna be individual purchases, not ideal for collectors who prefer the combining.

  • @InfernoGuy87 True, though at least Gobuster Ace can transform into a mecha on it's own.

  • I like the reds mecha. Only one problem the legs bother me but I can get over it. Overall this line is mixing modern and classy sentai. this maybe a really good series cant wait

  • I agree. I'm really looking forwards to these, they look awesome. The only complaint I really have is I don't like Gobuster-Oh's name that much, to me Gobuster Robo would've sounded better, but that's just me. That and they haven't had a mecha with the name Robo in it's name for how long?

  • hmmm... interesting!

    hmmm... interesting!

what are they doing there... interesting!

  • .....awesome gobuster-oh getting henshin devise getting wepions getting. Wow this is the frist time sence go onger i've wanted the mecha of a sentai.

  • thank god no blockformers!

  • Who you gonna call? GOBUSTER!

  • Interesting Interesting Indeed!! :))

  • yo EVA sup. man..... Judging from the pics, i can confidently say that the rumors of gobuster being a spy-themed sentai are right. Still, all i wanna see is the mecha review which i'm sure you will do once the toys are out. Personally, bandai is starting to reconcile themselves after making goseiger, which i thought was a flop series.

  • I'm thinking that if and when they get new mecha (and/or 4th, 5th, 6th rangers) that it will work similar to Dairanger with the armor/parts swapping. Also I don't think we are going to see a Cluster F#@k Megazord this year either.

  • that camera is a gun in disguise

  • Gobuster looks interesting. Time will tell if it is good or not.

  • When I first saw the Goseiger leaked footage, I was so excited! they looked fantastic, but Gosieger turned out to be a Giant middle finger to the Fanbase. When I saw the leaked Footage of Gokaiger, I was not impressed at first. I was like "Pirates, Really?, next year their gonna be Vamps I suppose". And what do you Know, Gokaiger turned out to be the Best Sentai Series I have EVER seen! I'm not really that impressed with Gobuster so far, so I guess that means it's going to be a Kick ass series.

  • @birca04

The two biggest themes I keep hearing from people that they want to see is either all insects or all dragons.

Gokaiger looked good despite Gokai-Oh being obviously blocky (because it was hollow), but I was very cautious about Goseiger and my caution turned out to save me. Shinkenger started out great then quickly sank into its own despair.

  • I must say this: These things look awesome :O. Now I will say the Gobuster Cheetah's robot mode is kinda dramatic action anime with those massive legs and shoulders. Though I got to say, it all looks good and while I don't collect or keep up with super sentai (I could though if I wanted) I might have to check this out when it comes out full swing.

  • actually it is sort of like headers

the "roids" turn into the cock pits which are the heads for the main mechas animal modes

and i am loving this series everything is soo streamlined and i love the bounty hunter spy

and how there symbol is a pair of glasses with a shine JUST LOOKS AMAZING

  • BEst part? The henshin call is "It's Morphin;' Time!"

  • @EltarPrince

Yeah- it's called the Morphin Brace, I shit you not! :O

  • the companion rodots standing next to the gobusters turn into the mecha's animal heads.

  • It reminds me of MMPR season 2. The red dragon zord wears the others as armor for the megazord.

  • Always liked your videos EVA, very in depth. It was watching your GaoKing video that made me go out and buy GaoKing/Wild Force Megazord for myself, I'm glad I did (just need to get a Gao Muscle). After seeing the video, it almost seems like the character next to Red Ranger has almost a bike motif to it (handle bars on the head seem to point that way). My only worry with this mech/zord is...will they go for limb swapping? Judging by the photos I will say no...but you never know.

  • @zeromight

I just commented below that the rabbit takes up all of the arms below the shoulder armor. If they want to swap, it'll be something like they did with Engine-Oh, IMO.

  • So the blue mecha is a robot, TrukK, -and- MunKey? O_O Wow... I think the debate of TruKk vs. MuNkEy is over! lol

But seriously, this does kinda look like Bandai's getting their act together. Should be interesting to see your opinions once you can get these in hand to review on CDX and YouTube.

  • @DetectiveBarricade

It was over long ago when Primal got himself another body. ;P

  • the mecha i think its the red with the blue and yellow becoming the armor

i dont think its a part swapping

  • @Mrortue

No, it looks like the yellow rabbit takes up the whole of both arms beneath the shoulder armor, as well as forming the weapons. However, the gorilla clearly splits into at least three pieces (both legs, and chest). I'm not prepared yet to call this armor swapping.

  • My question is what is up with the current sentai's using "Go-" in their name, GOseigers, GOkaigers, GObusters... Go-Ongers can't count in this since it had Shinkengers between it and gosiegers.

  • @GundamLegacyExtreme

IIRC, "gou" (also appearing as "go" or "gō") usually means 'thunder', a loud rumbling or roaring sound.

  • By contrast, "gao" is onomatopoeia for an animal roaring ("roar!").

  • @EVAUnit4A

I see... but it's just strange how the for 3 generations now we're getting "Go-something-ers" for the team names

  • @GundamLegacyExtreme

    Meh.

I wouldn't mind seeing them make a series again without "-nger" in the title. ;)

  • The last wrist mounted changer we had was Gekiranger, with GekiViolets gong changer... if that doesn't count it's Boukengers with BoukenSilvers changer.

  • @GundamLegacyExtreme Last team with wrist changers for everybody was in Abaranger

  • @EltarPrince

    Has it b
