One thing I love about Nujabes is that the samples he uses are great pieces of music such as this. I feel like I'm learning so much more about great music that I would never hear. This is especially good because my knowledge of Bossa Nova outside of Jobim is limited. I've heard almost everything he's done, so this is a good new starting place.

That's cool. Sampling does take parts and seem to 'rearrange' songs into something totally new, which people choose to like or take no interest in, such is the way for all genre. Well, the cd I have this on came out in 2000, and I thought it was obvious that lady brown was sampled, almost everything Nujabes done is sampled. It's not a bad thing.
