  • Is there any blocking at all in WFTDA games? I see lots of high scoring, but no good defense. Roller Derby is the sum of all parts - offense, defense, strategy.

  • Actually, there is FANTASTIC defense here and very little scoring. Defense is not only about knocking people down - at least not in advanced games like this one.

    The really great defense comes in the last period of regular time. WFTDA overtime jams are designed to have high scores and a rapidly switching lead.
