  • If the Doctor says HENSHIN I'm going to lose it.

  • japan on a daily basis

  • The Doctor and Rose, they have a manga voice °°

  • Does anyone know who voices the Doctor in Japenese?

  • japanese is sO COOLL:X:X:X:X

  • the original voices are soooo much better than this.

  • ...i feel bad for the japanese....

  • They almost sound like classic Cybermen (apart from the Japanese) from Earthshock

  • This would be great if they can dub it in English so that I can understand it.

  • @sleazybtd

wait... is that a joke? or do you seriously not know this is a japanese dub of an english tv show?

    It's a joke right?

  • @squirrelsignal its rather sad that this show is translated with the same actors from yu-ghi-oh. The doctor deserves better

  • @Cjrrodian

    I didnt know that... wow

  • what if matt regenerates into a hott japanese doctor who forgets how to speak english??? OMG!!!! that'd be weird...

  • @TeJap2 Not possible. The TARDIS, remember? It interprets. For all we know, the Doctor has spoken Gallifreyian all along and we just hear English when he opens his mouth. Yeah, it'd be funny though. :)

  • @danaseilhan i thought someone might say that... THE TRANSLATOR COULD BE BROKEN! XD that'd be so weird. and possibly really stupid. but funny.

  • Haaaa i laughed at this :L

  • This is just...

    ...Silly...

  • the intro looks so much more badass in japanese.....fuck it. its all more badass in japanese

  • @chrisaira that's so off the wall it could be a hit!

  • *3* wow~ i think japanese really suits cybermen 8D and i like the doctor's voice!

  • 吹き替えで見てたときは違和感無かったけど、Davidの声を聞いてからは多少の違和感が芽生えました(´・ω・`)

    でも好きだよ、吹き替えドクターも。

  • @SuperScotty97 No way. I mean, it doesn't compare, but it's sexy.

  • That's a sexy doctor voice <3

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i can't stop skee-ing oh gawd this makes me so happy

  • Who are the voice actors? The evil scientist almost sounds like Naya Goro.

  • @tf2whackyengineer I know that the Doctor is voiced by Toshiko Seki, who also voices Momotaros in Kamen Rider Den-O, but that's about it.

  • wtf? do the japanese take everything?

  • @CThompson151

From what I heard, they do like Doctor Who in japan. After all, its a show about an alien that travel time and space in a police box. Its such a weird show that, at times, that it may as well have been made by japanese! :P

  • the cyberman's voice sounds to deep.

  • you gotta love the japanese cybermen. It sounds like if Captain Harlock turned into a supercomputer and started singing opera.

  • @TheComingApocalypse its harkness! lol

  • @jennababez227 I didn't mean Captain Jack Harkness, I mean Capt. Harlock from the japanese series "Captain Harlock." He was also in Galaxy Express 999. I just used his name because I remember him as a cool deep voiced hero from my childhood.

  • @TheComingApocalypse ahhk I knew that!

  • Soooooo funny when the Doctor says Cyberman!

  • Yes, three frames per second here on YouTube!

  • The Cyberman voice sounds remarkably like "Deep Thought" in the original HHGTTG BBC audio drama

Did I hear correctly that these Cybermen are called "Motomen"?

  • does the doctor have a hadouken instead of a sonic screwdriver?

  • whoah wtf they sound weird

  • Comment removed

  • @davefgranger upugradu means what it sounds like: up-grade.

  • @davefgranger appugureedo (アップグレード) would be more accurate. "ware ware wa appugureedo shita" = "We have upgraded"

  • a japanese Doctor...♥

  • I love it,,,,love the Doctor's voice...wow....it sounds so good in Japanese..its fantastic..just brilliant <3

  • Not trying to be rasist but LOL

  • I prefer the tone on theses Cybusmen. They sound a bit human, which is what they are suppose to sound. The Cybusmen feel like robots with the english voice, but these sound like the Cybermen from the 80's.

  • @RYCloud92 Then I suppose you don't like how they sound in the 60's then. I do agree that these ones sound quite like the Earthshock Cybermen, but rather than sounding at many times downright silly, the Japanese Cybermen are cold monotone, which is a lot more cooler.

  • @WowbaggerGriffin I dont mind the 60's ones either (well in "The Invasion", want to catch more 60's Cyber ep's). My point was that these sound better then the new ones because they sound like there is still that speck of humanity there (which I felt I could also hear in the "Invasion" cybermen), where as the new series just sound like robots (which isn't helped by the word "DELETE!"). However fully agree that the Japanese montone here sounds better then the 80's,.

  • Those Cybermen voices are actually kind of cool.

  • holy crap MOMOTAROS IS THE DOCTOR!

  • @6CTCEL

Not only is Momotaros the Doctor, but Lum (Urusei Yatsura) is Rose!

  • That's Maaya Sakamoto as Rose I think~!

  • SO they took gundams and made them smaller?

  • aaaahhh!!! omg ^^

  • Having spent a few years in Germany I would sooner watch anything and everything with subtitles before having to tolerate dubs. House, for instance, really sucks in German.

  • @davefgranger something like "prepare to upgrade" on japan

  • Forgive me for this bit of rascism but I cannot resist. "Domo Arigato Mr Roboto"

  • Nevermind, I got it

  • Who is the Doctors Japanese seiyuu? He sounds kinda familier.

  • I think i like Dr Who more now :D

    This is cool :D

  • so random

  • This is great.

    But I miss Tennant's voice. D:

  • Japanese Cybermen! D8

    And a Japanese Doctor. Lawl

  • why is that when the Japanese dub are stuff it sound epic yet when we dub theres it sucks?

  • The Cybermen actually sounds better in japanese!

  • @PePethegamesmaker I think you might be right actually.

  • haha - I'm still waiting for him to pull out a bandana, wrap it around his head and going all bruce lee...

  • kakashi from naruto anyone ? i'm sure its the same guys voice

  • David Tennant + japanese that is.. very very odd. Love it!

  • The cybermen sound so funny in this! No offence

  • Ran Ran ROOOOOOOOOO !! :3

  • Cybermen are geniunly more scarey japanese.......

  • 0:20 LOOOOOOOK

  • Oh, My, God. Dr Who from Japan; I think i just feel in love with Dr Who even more! Also...i've heard the voice of those dubbing the Presedent and Mr Lumic before but i don't remember where! >.< can someone tell me who are those actors?!

  • Japanese cybermen sound better than the UK version

  • funny

  • japan + cybermen = badass

  • cyberman: come on! let me have my fatass meal

    japanese black man: hima kariyanolatay

cyberman: i said english! right thats it! 'BOOOM'

  • The Doctor sounds like Ichigo from Bleach in Japanese :/

  • @PS3Worshipper It's Shiba Kaien, actually.

  • @Sidius52Ryan Same thing xD

  • Is Mamoru Miyano providing the dub for the Doctor here?

  • @mizzshy8 No, the Doctor is voiced by Toshihiko Seki. (Momotaros from Kamen Rider Den-O)

  • what is that episode called in english

  • @legoblob1646 Rise of the cybermen

  • When I red the title I assumed they would transform into huge robots and fire massively over sized lazers and rockets

  • japanese suits the cybermen

  • Wow they sound epic in Japanese.

  • Mr. origato mr. roboto

  • I swear I've heard the doctor's voice somewhere else. And Rose's. And everyone's.

  • @MrForsakenBacon I thought the Doctor sounded like Kiba from Wolf's Rain.

  • @MrForsakenBacon The Tenth Doctor was played by Toshihiko Seki (Dom from "The Irresponsible Captain Tylor" and Shinobu in "Here is Greenwood" and Rose was played by Maaya Sakamoto (Hitomi from "Escaflowne" and Harhui in "Ouran High School Host Club").

  • @linktothepresent That really doesn't tell me anything. My comment was about Japanese voice actors sounding the same.

  • Cyberman:dodydodadidadoda abuckaherohipadoda.

    Docter: umm sorry?

  • これ凄く好きでした!

    また再放送やってくれないかなぁと思います…!

  • So much win.

  • :-D hahaha awesome!

  • If Cybermen removed race, - why keep any language, even if there's only one. I expected them to comunicate in Binary.

It's how computers talk to other computers.

    clever prime.

  • @Gallifrey103 is that from tthe old 80s dr who advert

  • @Beale11 Yes, - More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS featuring the (at the time) married Tom Baker and Lalla Ward.

  • @Gallifrey103 yeah I think I've got that someone amongst my 'Who' collection

  • haha

  • Hahahahaaa...I love it. :D I now am goigng o be addicted to finding DW dubbed.

  • exterminate xD

  • Doctor Who was broadcast in russia too!

    :P

  • Hmm, this can't be all that popular, my girlfriend is Japanese and she'd never heard of it, and then thought i was insane when i described it (though not as much as with Life On Mars... haha).

  • 1:40 You can clearly see the Doctor's lips saying "What?" while you hear "nani da?"

  • the cybermen sound like the cybermen from the 1980's.

  • Ha, we dub anime they dub bbc shows lol

  • 0.o I only thought doctor who was available here! I laughed when the lumix guy (whatever he's called i forgot) went "heh heh heh" XD

  • The voices were really well cast. I think I recognize a few of them from various anime.

  • OMG! Doctor Who in japanese xD awesome!

  • It's so appropriate in Japanese lol.

  • I thought the guy speaking to cyber controller said

    "Shall we cook 'em"

  • que the styx music

  • There is a Japanese version of doctor who? I didn't know that

  • They Cybermen should always speak in Japanese they sound so menacing.

  • YAY 80S CYBERMEN!

  • Rose sounds so cute in Japanese. I think this is a good dub. :)

  • UPGRADOOOOOOOOOO

  • domo arigato!

  • ok those cybermen sounded badass

  • The Doctor's voiced by Kaien Shiba...

    Sweet...

  • @DaibloDBZ Holy crap...you're right!

  • Too bad Cyberman only start talking Japanese from 1:35 I'd like if there was more Japanese Dialog for Cyberman, it suits them so well, just like German suits Daleks.

  • Gotta love the Electric Vulcan Death Grip.

  • Peanut butter, meet chocolate.

Seeing the Japanese language and Doctor Who together is quite awesome. :D

  • it kinda works, doesen't it.

  • The Japanese are so good at dubbing.

For some reason they stopped after series 2/28.

  • the Doctor's japanese voice sounds familiar,

yup, I heard it somewhere in anime series.

  • yea... but i cant put my finger on which series... wanna say hellsing.....

  • hum...in that case, definitely not Alucard's voice.

  • Seki did not have a role in Hellsing, but he had many known roles. Google for more info.

  • The actor is named Toshihiko Seki. he is a very well known seyuu.

  • hehe lol

Doctor Who is still epic- even in Japanese! ^^

    Love it :)

  • even Epic-er!! xD

  • APPUGREDO!

  • sounds like its sayin waaddaawaaddawa

    1:36

  • No matter what language, David Tennant still has the most raping voice ever. :3

  • Oh,I'm Japanese.

And I watched it on TV.

I like Doctor Who and David Tennant!

  • @swibosshime

Good for you! But did you know there are two more complete series after this one and seven special episodes that have never been shown on Japanese TV?

  • I had no idea Docter Who was broadcast outside the UK, let alone in Japan... cool!

But I can't help but lol at this! XD

  • @Mewsa64 yeah we get it here in the U.S as well

  • Didn't know it was broadcast outside UK? It's on the Sci-Fi channel! They did a comic-con panel just two years ago just to inform people that the the specials will only air BBC-America for god's sake!

  • @Mewsa64 Yeah. America, Japan, and Spain if I'm not mistaken. I think even France. yeah, definitely France David Tennant won an award from France for this. XD

Wait, was that France? I can't remember.

  • And what find really funny is that it airs of the Japanese Disney XD.

  • @lizardlord4k OMFG, are you serious? Those Japanese, I'll tell you what. they're odd. XD

  • I live with a japanese woman called ayako and im showing her what dr who is

  • @lizardlord4k lol, now that I think of it, it'd be Dr. Wuu in Japan! And instead of a Sonic Screwdriver, he'd have Sonic Chopsticks! Add a Rickshaw TARDIS and replace Allons-y with Banzai! and you have the next regeneration! XD

  • @Valkier071 In Japan I Doctor Who would be called, Dokutaa Fuu (Huu).

  • Its brodcasted in the US!

Luckly I have reletives in Wales!

:) My dads welsh, he even has an accent!

I love Doctor who and I'm american

  • @Mewsa64 ye its in germany too

  • @Mewsa64

    it's here in ireland.

the US, every person featured from another country.

    it's featured in their country.

  • @Mewsa64 Well, at the least we Americans get Doctor Who. =D

But yeah, Japan wasn't a place I thought would have it. Kinda weird...yet cool. =)

  • @Mewsa64 you could be surprised by how many places play this!

  • @Mewsa64 Yeah its quite popular with nerds in the US I think, its broadcast on BBC America.

  • @Mewsa64 what about the us, and israel and countless EU countries

  • @Mewsa64 I went to America about this time last year and it was on over there.

  • LOL [2]

  • LOL

  • Man, the Doctor's Japanese voice sounds so familiar, I can almost place it. Shinichiro Miki, perhaps?

  • mabey Kei from Special A?

  • Could be, though I'm not really familiar with that series.

  • Seki Toshihiko, actually!

  • Neat, Duo from Gundam Wing's seiyuu :)

  • And there I was thinking Doctor Who couldn't get any better.

  • I'm slightly worried that I've studied Japanese for five and a bit years and all I got from that was that the last sentence was in the plain form! D:

  • the voices are familiar....can someone tell me what other series has these guys made? (i mean the guy that does the doctor voice, rose and the rest)

  • the japanese cybermen voices sound like the 80's cybermen

  • I Japanese Cybermen just fits together perfectly for me... fantastic

  • lmfao

    "サイバーマンだ!"

  • lol

  • lol

  • I actually... like their voices! :O
