• His pitch is good. The closest I've heard to him hitting a bad note is the Change Of Seasons video.

• His rhythm is good. I've never heard him mistime something, which is saying something because of how rhythmically complex DT is.

• He never forgets lyrics.

• He's not a primadonna bitch like Axl Rose.

So quit bitching! Remember that DT spent over a year looking for a singer, and he was the only one good enough.

I am a Dream Theater fan. But you can clearly hear he's correcting himself from that chord to the chord which should be played.

Just because they use dissonant notes/chords in their songs, doesn't mean they always do it on purpose. This was clearly one of those mistakes. Notice the weird shifting in the chord when he plays it. It's the sound of someone correcting himself.

@Poortypopper I'm sorry, but I can promise you that Petrucci is better simply based on the fact that all of his riffs aren't in 4/4 or E Minor Blues. And honestly, Lars is a bitch. He could only wish he had as much talent and Portnoy. In fact, the only players in Metallica that could be considered decent are James Hetfield and Cliff Burton, and one of them unfortunately died. Even though, I know that Myung would make Burton gasm a little. Hetfield has recently (1994) lost his true ability
