Another Say Goodbye performed with John Popper, which in my opinion is the best version ever, was played back on 8/3/96. Just posted it up but without video. Check it out and see for yourself. I do agree that this one is excellent just not the best.

I agree that this is THE best version of Say Goodbye. This live song is on "Best of What's Around" but there is also an ALMOST equally amazing live one on "Mile High Music Festival."

And just to correct, DMB is not a jam band. Dave himself has corrected people in interviews. Once he was asked how it feels to "jam" now that Roi's not there. And Dave replied, "well I never considered us a jam band because to me that just sounds like we're sittin around lickin each other's balls." I know, a bit
