Why I Feel The Sega Dreamcast Was The Basis For Xbox

Just so you know man, the Dreamcast didn't run Windows CE, or any operating system for that matter; Windows CE had to be on the game disc itself, and it was mostly used for ports of PC games (for obvious reasons).

You're right though; Microsoft learned a ton from the Dreamcast. It was one the best investments they ever made.

It seems strange to me as I am a Dreamcast fanatic and the xbox is my least played console of all time. It just sits there gathering dust most of the time.

@Temposama Same goes here I have a Ps3 but had the dreamcast never died so quickly..I would still be on sega..but I gotta give him a point the guys right..everything from the controller to the games and the system it self..but poor promotion..can kill almost anything....Imagine how many great inventions have never saw the light because of poor marketing...its sad...

I honestly didn't think much about an Xbox-Dreamcast relation possibility till the 360 came about, but I see what you mean.

I thought 360 was going to be D.C. incarnate, meaning it died early, cause of early release, but it didn't. Still just want an Xbox.

Yeh, I remember Tamagotchi, never owned one tho.

I played Chao Adventure on my VMU (Visual Memory Unit); good times. Also it was good for finding secrets and mapping.

That NFL trick sounds awesome! Makes me love my Dreamcast even more ^^.
