Soft white sand yes, but don't expect to see clear blue waters anymore. Sanya has become so polluted in the last 3 years. Coupled with frequent use of "recycled" cooking oil, the experience will bound to give you an upset stomach every other meal or so (the food always looks gorgeous though). Also, expect this "Hawaii in China" to actually cost more than the real Hawaii.
