@Pre00 actually, a stang is in it's own catagory for road courses. it will out handle a evo, sti, speed3, srt-4 (both neon and caliber.) the last almost now 5 years they have been the best at what they do and that's the twisties. ford got away from drags and now do handling for that car. not talking shit just informing you. yes back before 04' they did blow ass, but today they do pretty well. not a stang fan at all and agree with you it's a redneck car but it will out perform your evo!

ive raced a roush stage 2 from a 40 roll in my stock cobalt. it was an 07 stang with intake as well as the stage 2 roush package, which is just the body kit and IRS. took him by 2 lengths. csrt4 and cobalt ss turbos are about the same when it comes to speed.
@1369jeejee when did a stage two come out for the csrt? the only stage out for them is the ms1, and the soon ms1k. stage two hasnt been realeased yet and probably wont be realeased. the only way to go past stage 1 is going aftermarket non staged

Nope just a couple bolt ons like exhaust intake, BOV, and stg1 i made 310hp and 330 of tq. the csrt s can really pick up some power with only a couple bolt ons specialy since its lighter than most cars and any time i would race a mustang is usually from a roll around 40-60 I did race a cobra at the track a couple weeks ago and ya of course it beat me it was a 11 sec cobra with drag radials.
Sounds like a stout car but its most likely home in the street where its disadvantage of being FWD isn't really a factor. Maybe you'll run into a well drive stout stang in the street someday.
