Did you see the opti in that video? I've sailed both box opens and optis and the bics are way better. Though they aren't as good as lasers though.

sorry, it will never overtake the optimist, which I'm guessing it was designed to do. Oppitimist have larger fleets, more tactics and younger kids can sail them. Fun for a ride like a pico but not for racing.

There is not a sabot or opimist left at our club, Bics have taken over, same right down the coast.

Yeah I usually sail opti's (boring) but I think these boats are awesome. I sail at the VHYC

i can sail a laser and the but my camp got bics and i tryed one out and i had a lot of fun. there there litter boats beside me and i was going alot faster a i had alot more fun
