@MattGriffis Thanks for the kind words! By the way, I've got other book reviews out you might enjoy. I also just got a better mic, so I'll be able to record with better quality from now on. If you check my Top 10 Xbox 360 video you can hear my new mic's better quality. not the best but better. Anyway thanks for the comment, those kinds of words really make my day!
@SFisher1993 I liked Shadow Hunter more too, if you haven't already seen it, I've posted a review of that one too. But yeah this is a really good tie in with the movies and the Expanded Universe. Really nice stuff.
@SFisher1993 I am planning on Rise of Vader...but I'm not sure if ROTS would be appropriate. For one thing...it's basically the movie. For another it depicts a LOT of conflicting details from the film. Who knows maybe I will but I'm not planning on ROTS at the moment. LOE is my favorite of the 3 and it just blends the clone wars in with ROTS (film) so nicely that I felt it would be a good review to do. If I change my mind I'll keep you posted. I've not read Approaching Storm...I'll research it.
Yeah, it really is good. I really liked the attention they gave to the background characters rather than just obi-wan or anakin. It shared to spotlight with the other jedi and even with dooku and general grievous. Really cool book.
I was considering giving this a look but now I'm glad that it's worth it.
I just started reading Star Wars Tales Of The Bounty Hunters. I've only read about the first 20 pages which is a part of the IG-88 storyline, and it's really interesting. I may even review it sometime in the future.
@LightVSDarkness64 Yeah, I recommend this one...you like Grievous a lot so i think you'll enjoy it. Like I said it also makes Dooku more interesting as well,so you may enjoy that.
As for the Tales of the Bounty Hunters, IG-88 is my favorite story. I've never actually read that book, but I looked up all of those guys after I saw your IG-88 video and I got the summary of it. I still think IG-88 is the most interesting of the bunch.
He's the most interesting for me as well. IG-88's chapter has cold menace to it and it actually has computer program language written in it like; "activating sensors" and stuff like that.
Very nice review!! (even though I haven't read it yet! Lol) :). I actually bought this book a few weeks ago, and haven't had time to read it yet. I just recently bought quite a few new books to add to my collection, and I'm looking forward to reading it even more now!
@starwarsjedimaster94 Thanks! I'm glad my reviews are actually making people want to read these things. Let me know what you think of it once you're finished. By the way...have you started the Darth Maul book yet, or have you been reading something else?
@yarealpoof Ok, I'll be sure and let you know what I thougth of it. No, I still haven't started it yet. I just bought two whole bookshelves of SW hardbacks to add to my collection, so I've been busy reading all of them. Right now I'm reading The Fate of the Jedi: Allies. That series is the BEST SW series EVER!!!!
@starwarsjedimaster94 The Fate of the Jedi is great! But I'm still firmly in Darth Bane's camp as far as BEST SW series goes ;)
But hey, it's all star wars right...it's all great stuff. Backlash is actually my personal favorite from that series so far. I'm not sure why though, I guess I just liked the way it ended.
Fairly good review, you are correct about the book and comics basically telling the same story, and even though i have had this book since it came out it feels good to watch the review lol. Starwars just seems to get better and better as it ages.
@akatsukifanboy102 Thanks for the kind words, and you're right...I often read and watch reviews based on books I've read ages ago. It just does get better and better as it ages...not sure why though. Anyway thanks for the comment!
Good review. I agree with you. This book really helps improve the characters who are only background props in the films. They have much more to do with the story in this. Also the chapter with Mace and Kit and Grievous and his Magnaguards is like the COOLEST!
I know what you mean. The book doesn't match the cartoon all the way but it's still basically the same thing. People just need to choose witch one they'd consider canon. Personally I think Labyrinth of Evil makes a bit more sense (just because it has more time to deliver proper exposition), but I enjoyed the cartoon more. Still it's a good book. Nice review, I really enjoy these, especially the kotor music in the back. Keep it up!
BTW I NEVER noticed Quin was mentioned in Ep 3!!! :D
@hogarthdolamite yeah I didn't realize it either until I re-read Volume 8 of Clone Wars because I'd forgotten the name of the planet...and then I heard Obi-wan say that stupid name SAY LOO CAM EYE or however you pronounce Saleucami, and I was Like "OHMYGODHEJUSTMENTIONEDQUIN!!!!" So cool.
Hey dude that was very informative :) and did quite enough not to spoil the story but to make me want to read it way more . Merci beaucoup

Great review. This was one of my favorite SW "lead-in to the movie" novels. (next to Shadow Hunter). And great for a tension builder.

@yarealpoof Yeah I saw it and I imagine SH is alot better than Approaching Storm (I heard that one was pretty bad). But yeah, LOE is good stuff!
Are you planning on reviewing the rest of the "Dark Lord" trilogy? (ROTS, Rise of Vader).
