I've been building projects since around 2003, 2004. If I had to start again I'd learn Python instead of PHP.

@ThunderAppeal if your only argument against PHP is its lack of namespaces (which was changed in PHP 5.3), then you really don't have much of an argument. In fact recent updates have made PHP a very modern language.

It looks like most of the developers on the panel don't take unit tests seriously. As much as I love Django and Python, the Python compiler can't be trusted to all the checking at compile time. Unit tests are vital to Python programming. (pychecker helps, but it's not enough.) If anyone knows how to make sure that code isn't broken without unit tests in Python, let me know. Unit tests make sure things function as expected and they help keep the code stay correct.

This would have been a decent video, but Leah ruined it. Is it just me, or is she more or less a dog in heat when it comes to cameras being pointed at her? I think she disgraces the females in this industry, specifically those with actual talent and brains.

Django is a framework. There are PHP frameworks which do similar, try cakephp.
