Riki is great, but too Humble. He wrote me he wasn't real happy with this version. To me it's awesome. We have lots of tapes of Rory doing it, none sound identical. This would fool many people. What is really amazing is his native toungue is Italian, his voice when singing is so close to Rory. Mutilingual is an accomplishment, but sounding like a great Irish singer is ubelieveable. Possibly the best cover ever of anyone. Thanks Riki, I think Rory looks down and smiles when you play.

Riki Massini, RikiRock is his "stage name" he plays the Rory Gallagher tribute festival in Ballyshannon every year, he was there with his band (not these guys, the new bassist and drummer) this year, it was great.

Cos I'm pretty sure (don't quote me on this) that it's just his AC30 into his guitar, if not it'd be an OD in between, not a distortion, and you should be able to notice his tone stays consistant throughout so no third party pedal or rack seems to be involved.

lol guys cmon ....its nothing more than the VOX amp behind him.....he has High gain on and plays with the neck pickup.....simple...Full tube amp (valve in proper English) and a strat with single coil noiseless pickups. thats it. no overdrive.just high gain :)
