No it's not the tranny, the car has a solid lift cam and open hooker super competion headers and sidepipes and so the loudness is so great that my older camra can't take the loudness. I need to get a better camra. But ya at idle this car can be heard a block a way, and I reved it somewhere in the 4000-5000 rpm range so this car is louder than loud!

Needs a tranmission?? sounds like my truck when rev when I didn't have transmission, and I'm talking about the weird noise after the rev.
