The whole month of October is going to be the best Redford Movies ever. First we start out with a double feature of the The Blob and Kronos, then we do another Double Feature, then we REALLY pull out all the stops and feature Tony O'Brien with 1920 John Barrymore classic Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, and then we conclude the month with the Stooges.
Maybe the Redford Theatre can help ease some pain.
I absolutely love this place. I've been attending screenings since I was in junior high school and every time my friends and I go, it's just as magical as our last visit:
The 50/50 raffle, superb organ playing, GREAT movies, a beautifully restored interior, records for sale and delicious concessions at affordable prices....profits from which go to restoring and maintaining this wonderful place. What's not to love?
Magical night at the Redford Theatre in Detroit when audience anticipated and were rewarded with an MSU NCAA Men's Basketball victory over UCONN in the Final Four hosted in Detroit. 72,000 + at Ford Field, 700+ at the Redford! Our organists and volunteers played and worked their butts off.
wow ed i didnt know she played that good.. too bad she didnt get a concert in at the Senate Theater.
