  • I was in Sichuan for 5 months, I'm going back in September..I'm a little confused with one of the things you said in the other videos..You said "Ni you kan guo bu dianying"..Just curious as to why you added "bu", doesn't that make it negative? Or is it like a "you mei you" or "hao bu hao" type deal? Like instead of saying kan bu kan guo?

  • haha seems like you always have a tan! peggy! could you make videos on taiwanese hokkien next time? i don't know why, but the hokkien we speak here in the philippines is different in a way - there's a difference in accent / tones, more specifically. though people still understand my hokkien, i wanna sound like a local. haha.

oh, and i'm going to visit taiwan next year. hope to see you around! :)

  • this sucks! i learned nothing by just waving hands and listening...

no matter the beautiful face.. and no wonder this has less than 10k subscribers...

this is no professional teaching video!!

please do it right or just let it be.

  • @level0004 I will be sure to ask your permission next time I post a video. lol.

  • @level0004 I learned something. Perhaps you have a learning disability. Please check into that. Thanks and have a great day! :D

  • @level0004 What were you expecting to learn? The title describes it all; besides, the teaching was executed very well. I should know. I'm a professional teacher and a student of Chinese.

  • @tastybrain 謝謝你呀~美味大腦!:D

  • Switch the sound off and just look at her face.

  • @TanakaJulian ???

  • @PeggyTeachesChinese Your face is very nice.

  • @TanakaJulian Thank you~ :)

  • Xiexie! I have several books that I'm using to help me learn, and not one has this phrase, which I think is very important.

I notice you use "zenme" in the video for how. What is the difference between zenme, zenyang, and zenmeyang?

  • ni hao, i recently was looking up lessons to speak chinese.. but, i find it difficult to know if i do it right or not? I live in the U.S. if your ever around... i will be bed ridden for awhile because of knee surgery. So ill have plenty time to learn.. any help would be great for speaking chinese. Thx :)

  • peggy,

the presentation page at the end of the video featuring english +pin-yin, traditional, and simplied was simply brilliant. I can screen print it and work from it.

excellent work. good luck on building the business

  • @mikewinburn Thank you for your comment~ :) Please help share my videos. Xiexie.

  • Your tan looks nice. I like the eye shadow, too - nice combo. I like the flower in your hair and i like your shirt, too. I like your face and mouth, also. I like your peppy attitude, as well.

The trick to suntaning is to NEVER let the sun shine on your skin when it's peeling after you get burned. Go slow and never over-do it.

    ;-)

  • @robbiedaug Thanks for your advice for getting a sun tan! ;)

  • It can help me. :)

  • @Pingijno Great to hear that you find it helpful! :)

  • Great video as always--and beautiful as always!

  • @JohnCorriganMusic Thank you~ :)

  • BTW, when I watch your vids without sound it looks like you're rappin' because of crazy hand gestures. ;)

  • @bizelivin Hahaha. I just can't help my hand gestures! It shows my passion for teaching la!!! :D

  • Most asian women I know prefer to stay out of the sun but I think they look so hot when they tan. You're a good example of this. Thanks for vid peggy!

  • @bizelivin Thank you for commenting! :) We say 曬黑 shaiˋhei - to tan.

  • Peggy老师你好。

    我觉得实说:

    中文里怎么说“Something“ 也

    中文,”video" 怎么说?

    还可不可以?

    谢谢老师!

  • @06newstar 什麼意思?

  • @PeggyTeachesChinese "How do you say video in mandarin?" = 中文里怎么说video? 。。对不对?

  • Peggy always so charismatic, big smile, attractiv tan ;) how do you say sun tan in mandarin?

  • wow your tan as i am an im hispanic lol XD

  • @ChicanoAngel01 hola! :)

  • @PeggyTeachesChinese Hola peggy como estas esta noche ^_^

  • Hey Peggy! I have a question not necessarily pertaining to this video. Are mandarin and cantonese dialects of Chinese? Or are they different languages altogether, thereby making no such language as chinese?

    Thank you!

    Xie-xie!

  • 個人意見

    。。。。用中文。。。。說

    應該說 “用” 字最合適。

    不過, 你說的也可以。

  • Google translation: Zěnyàng yòng pǔtōng huàshuō xiē shénme?

  • so beautiful!!!! thanks for the Chinese lessons...:-)

  • Your videos are always so helpful! :)

  • Dear Peggy, can't we also say something like " 'Video' 用普通话怎么说?“ ?

  • @rabornraborn

    sure why not

  • @rabornraborn Absolutely! :) There is always a variety of ways to express something in a language. In your example, it'll be " 'video' use Mandarin how to say?" Thank you for pointing it out!
