  • good show, but little bit too much talking..but still good. hey forgot paul newman?

  • I think this was the best in Memoriam of all the Oscar ceremonies

  • What is this music from?

  • where's paul newman?? :(((

  • it was last year's tribute.

  • Heath took pills and died from an accident (spelled right?) Bruce Lee also took a pill and died from that.

People don't have to be abuser of drugs to died from drugs; they can die from accidents.

  • the song is Legend of the Fall - James Horner

  • What is the name of the song?

Is it really from Brokeback Mountain?

  • The song near the end is from the Shawshank redemption soundtrack.

  • It's hard to watch this.

  • and bruce lee died of that too????

  • you have no soul!

  • just be quiet....it is not about how many movies.. but the quanity of the work...

  • he was not a drug addict... he was a man.. who gave his all and was so young.. and he had more to give.. and he had a little girl.. adn yes, he made his mistake.. but he is a legend in his own right.. u cant think of him as a drug addict.. that is awful...have some shame

  • Heads up Everyone!

Two Cents is in the building.

  • yea because he died you idiot! heath had been doing plenty of movies right up until his death! plus heath had died at a young age! all those other actors have actually lived a long life!! jeez go find yourself a brain!

  • James Dean didn't live long, but he's a legend none the less.

  • James dean is a legend, not sure why. Bob Hope I think is a legend. I attribute a legend to what he has done, but that's just me.

    Not being sarcastic.

  • I'll say! ^^ He and Heath are my two biggest inspirations along with Johnny Depp! I WILL be an actress one day, and they are the ones I will thank for it. All the things they have all said, and Johnny will continue to say, are my drive. ESPECIALLY James Dean's "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today..." and Heath Ledger's "When I think it's good, that's when I stop and do something else."

  • it was prescription pills, not anything illegal. he was suffering from anxiety and insomnia. it's really something to pity, actually.

  • Floyd Redcrow Westerman and Heath Ledger...they both will be sorely missed. RIP.

  • Even though it was extremely short, I think it had a powerful effect - the lack of music made it so haunting and set it apart from others - it was so lovely, i think it was perfect.

  • Totally agree with you, balez :(

  • Gretchen Wyler (scene from Friends) I knew because of Monica's hair

  • Janet Blair. True talent and beauty.

  • I cant believe we lost both Marcel Marceau and Luciano Pavarotti in the same year...two of the greatest practitioner's of their respective art forms.

  • i am part of the human race, and one of the unique characteristics that we pocesses it the nature to feel for our fellow men.

god bless all those we lost, and may them rest in peace.

  • i think it is amazing how you can become so attached to a person through their body of work. and even if you did not know the person personally, you feel a sense of loss when they finally pass on. I have grown to love these characters that these actors and actress protray that I mourn them respectfully. And I don't care when some people tell me it is stupid to cry for them, b/c i did not know them.

  • Does Anyone know the name of this song or the composer???????

  • The first song is from Legends of the Fall by James Horner. Second song is from Shawshank Redemption. Can't recall the composer at the moment.

  • The second song is from Brokeback Mountain

  • The second song is from Shawshank originally.

  • Every time they show Deborah Kerr do they have to show the sex on the beach scene? I know it was a big breakthrough and all controversial and so on, I just get tired of looking at it when I remember she made a gadzillion other great pictures.

  • the song played at the end of the memorial is from the Shawshank Redemption called "Suds on The Roof"

  • I'm with Miss Green Day 7 on that, but that was poignant, how Heath is shown just one solemn facial shot, the music has ended, no soundbite, and just a quick look and fade to black.

  • Seeing Heath at the very end makes it all the more painful =( Such a terrible loss. RIP Heath.

  • I hate it when they only clap for the ones they like. It's like even in death they are still being judged. They shouldn't applaud for any of them and just watch and remember the actors with respect.

  • It's sad to see the other actors leave, but the saddest are Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger. They were so young with so much to give.

  • Good Buy, Heath Ledger. Thank you for Ennis.

  • I loved the fact that they played a song from Brokeback Mountain but It is still hard to think of him gone.

  • Brad Renfro will be remembered always by all of us who followed his carreer expecting and always getting a great performance!!!! Rest in Peace!

  • I agree 100%. May he and Heath Ledger both R.I.P

  • I never knew of Laraine Day until watching the SAG awards Memoriam. She has consumed my thoughts ever since. She is absolutely beautiful. Old Hollywood beauty at its best. They will all be missed.

  • its not working for me!! why??! :((

  • The Heath`s death is to much for Hollywood,,,,a great actor, with a incredible talent......we never forget him......

I want to know what is the name of the final theme of this video,,,,appears in final part of the trailer of "Borkeback Mountain"....

1.- First theme belongs to "Legend of the falls".

    2.- Second theme belongs to....???????

    Help me please....

  • Shawshank...it was driving me crazy too :)

  • RIP Brad Renfro! You were an amazing and gifted actor who contributed so much to the craft! Thank you for the 15 years, and for the movies you left behind. You'll never be forgotten!

  • Thanks for reposting this! I'll miss Suzanne Pleshette, Tom Poston, Jane Wyman, Lois Nettleton, and Alice Ghostley

I first saw Tom and Jane in their wonderful guest appearances on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman". Lois was great as "Pat" on "the Golden Girls". I love Alice Ghostly in "Designing Women". Suzanne I know from Bob Newhart's shows and "The Birds" Rest in peace all of you.

  • I think that people will miss Heath Ledger most of all

  • You're entitled to your opinion, but that's not the case for me, as there are others who beg to differ. RIP Brad Renfro!

  • heath rip you'll never forget!

    see you man
