These are union people that have jobs and support the movement. The only ones with made shirts and signs are union people. They focus on job creation and believe it or not it is possible for people to fight for jobs while they have jobs. It means they want others to get a shot. It's called not being selfish and thinking of others.
A great video that gives you A LOT of reasons NOT to support these increasingly noxious and obnoxious "Occupy____" protests in any way, shape or form.
I keep e-mailing my liberal friends links to occupy videos like this and even after e-mailing them about 30 of similar videos, they still say that the people in these videos are the minority. I wonder how many more of these videos it will take before their eyes open.
Capitalism doesn't raise prices. Capitalism necessarily drives DOWN prices, while wages will typically stay the same or even go up, especially now days when he have manufacturing.
@Smullet90 I remember capitalism. When a kid got outta high school, talked to his guidance councilor and stepped out to a pick of 3 career jobs. Then retired 30 years later with lifetime pension and health. A HS grad dock worker would many times become VP. Everybody worked. The few who didn't were treated like Christians. We worked making everything from the pencils our children learned with, to the shoes on their feet. Proud damn jobs, not servant this shit today. Chinese capitalism.
I'm somewhat confused by your comment, not saying that there is anything wrong with it, but what do you mean by "those who didn't were treated like Christians," and "Chinese capitalism." Are you saying that what we have today is Chinese capitalism, or that the capitalism you love was Chinese capitalism?
@Smullet90 I'm simply saying true capitalism didn't involve pimping American industry abroad. We have literally sold our country's own life's blood to virtual slave labor. It's broken our capitalist circle. It's a reckless linear race into a brick wall. The Chinese are a highly regimented people. Much more so than Americans. They will easily become American industry, contributing only merchandise, while our broad tax base that once floated schools, infrastructure and overall prosperity, dies.
Capitalism isn't about nationalism. If products come cheaper from other countries, which many necessarily will (e.g rice), then it is better for us to purchase that product from that country. If businesses can't produce products competitively in America, they must go to other countries, and that is better for the country. The real problem is we react by subsidizing products which ends up making us allocate resources poorly, and hurts every sector of industry.
@Smullet90 Sorry- I've seen a 30 year curve toward logic like yours that will not allow me to agree. It's not rice, it's not an I-PAD, it's the nation's entire industrial might, given away for obscene corporate gains. I won't live to see the crash, I'm retired and everything I have is paid for. I'll be fine. Why do I even care. It's hopeless. Cheers.
You can't "give away" industrial might. That doesn't even make sense. The only thing you could do would be regulate it into extinction. Something tells me you aren't retired, something tells me you are very far from retired. Cheers.

well of course the commie/socialist unions are funding OWS. Along with Acorn, George Soros and Cass Sustein and other libturds who hate America and wish for it's downfall. fucking leftist vermin scum the lot of them.
Vlad the impaler, barely 30, wiped out 100% of the poverty and dependency in his kingdom. He held a grand charitable banquet for the afflicted. Once seated inside, the doors were locked and the building burned. He was Christian, but apparently missed the crucial red letters.
People who have no real argument have to chop videos up to make it look like you're making a point. THIS IS SAD! You can't even edit the video in a non-obvious way ... random shots of a pole... hahahahahaha!
@xFrequentC Did you listen to the people in this video? Everyone of them were idiots. They don't know who is funding them or why they are there. Typical USEFUL IDIOTS. Google and learn.
Conglomerated mega corporations run Washington. They don't care who's in office, dem or rep, as long as the masses continue to feel free about the process. The professional politician is a figurehead, like Col Sanders, just a benign face on our crappy bucket of chicken. Just like the rest of us, he won't care about anyone if he can be set for life. I don't even need a crystal ball, it's predictable, sick of O, the next president will appeal to conservatives, and the same CEOs will run America.
@johnnyfuxtik "like Col Sanders, just a benign face on our crappy bucket of chicken."
Colonel Sanders was a real person, he started Kentucky Friend Chicken. Colonel Sanders invented the KFC "secret" recipe himself... it's the same recipe KFC uses today. He's NOT a mythical figure like Ronald McDonald... and KFC isn't crappy, it's delicious!
Don't be such an ignorant moron... at least be accurate in your claims when spewing your beliefs. Thanks
@DOHC2L OK, I'll lighten things with this sillyness. You split hairs and reach for straws pal. The only thing we know for certain is that, if he is inside there serving our complaints about a bad bucket of delicious KFC, he sure ain't smellin too good.
Funny, when plain simple folks, who just want gainful jobs, can't make it on shit wages and eventually join the military, everybody honors them. But as soon as they're in their civilian form, everybody blames them. Who TF do we think we are to say?
@NAGGERNUTZ This entire video is a classic! It sums up this movement. This NEEDS to go viral to expose the unions and the socialist movement, aka occupy.
@ladylordess - I concur. There are several good videos on YT, that show this too. The good thing is, union membership is on the decline. They're losing membership nationwide.
@NAGGERNUTZ Yes, unions have been on the decline for decades, and rightfully so. It amazes me to see how these people think. They actually believe that other people are as brain dead as they are, and want membership dues taken out before they even receive their check, just to have those funds go to a political arm that they may very well not even believe in.
@ladylordess - Public sector unions are even worse. They're taking our money to pay dues to an organization that funds a political party that's killing this country. And they have better pay and benefits than the private sector. I hope governor Walker stays the course in Wisconsin, then hopefully it'll spread nationwide. He's already created 30,000 new jobs.
@NAGGERNUTZ Agreed!! The PU's never should have been. A union thug "negotiating" across the table with a politician with OUR tax dollars in a truly unholy union.
Gov. Walker is a real leader! He even has the budget under control, and his opposition want to recall him for it. Morons!!
