  • snare eats it that hurt to waatch my first season on bass 3 iate it during a show in like november but the judges didnt notice my drill instuctor made me watch it like 80 times

  • ive never seen a guy drop his stick in a performance bfore o.O

    srsly though

  • @Fatshady180 bs

  • @puppylove4057 lol that was when ive never heard of dci or wgi. you know, middle school "drumline" level?

  • Touch...

  • dropped a stick

  • OMGGGG

  • Wow... It not even the same show during this competition.

  • did they change up the end of the first movement??

  • Actually, I don't think that was a good fall at all. He landed on the equipment!

  • @anqvu trust me that was alright, i fell my freshman year in high school on the field, with tenors, in the "criss-cross" position with my legs....it was not fun trying to get back up again...and then having to run to my next spot...i think he handled it really well

  • That has to be the best recovery i have ever seen! great job i absolutely LOVE this show!

  • @puppylove4057 Props to the tenor player too who just about jumped over him. could have been a real train wreck.

  • I have friends that are in Brookwood drumline, they took 4th at the Nashville show.

  • yeah brookwood was good. they were in a tough class though.

  • saw them in nashville last saturday cause i'm on an independent line, doublestop indoor percussion, and they were the sickest thing ever. them and MCM killed it.

  • finnally version much better :)

  • They jacked a high schools performance from where I live. :(

  • @zzzzzushi that high school most likely wasn't the first either.

  • @zzzzzushi ide rather watch rhythm x over any high school

  • @rdaniels45-yes we r a middle school drumline and thanks for the support wat group were u???

  • they just played yesterday on saturday at wgi i was there because im in a drumline called shockwave and it was amazing because they had a guy run on top of the snare and they had muse songs in their show

  • @guitarheroexpert43- arent you guys a middle school line? you guys were pretty decent at dayton.

  • @guitarheroexpert43 i have muse in my show too

  • Love them :) they're amazing, they practice at my school, i love it. The only thing that bothered me is the fact that the xylo player looks to be playing at the high school level...what's up with that?? But other than that, amazing.

  • Besides the tenor player dropping his stick and and the snare biffing it hard core.....Great Show!! Loved it!

  • amazing show! as a pit monkey it bothers me thought that xylo on very left is playing about a quarter of the work that the rest of the pit is playing, maybe he was a last minute understudy? AnYWAY, great show :)

  • i kick his ares for falling.

  • Comment removed

  • it wasn't a cymbal player who fell. it was snare

  • Yea it was a snare, he is one of my snare techs hhaha

  • Basses were delicious and tenors shreded

  • oh god i hate to see ppl fall like that

  • Check out the Chelsea Bucketline! They are WAY better than the BLUE DEVILS!!

  • HAHAHAHA 58...it's a dick in the box!

  • cymbal player fail

  • i feel really bad for the guy that fell

  • who fell?

  • 5:42

  • ohh so did they lose?

  • you dont lose because some one falls..you lose for being bad....thats just an accident...his recovery is what counts. They did win WGI so, even if they did lose this oh well

  • thats my highschool :) my winter percussion hangs out with rhythm x and we use their equipment, vice versa. our school is where they practice; sometimes they practice with us too! theyre pretty cool guys. fairmont ftwin!

  • nicely done

  • why does their opener sound different in the lot than it does here?

  • This is an early Season Vid... This is the first version of the opener! Videos like the from girlsnare08 is the final Version

  • hey that's me lol

  • OM MY GOD did you see the guy fall when he fell i gasped like i was about to die but then he got up and went on like nothing happened i want to high five that person! he is my hero haha im a girl playing the tenor drum haha if i fall there is NO WAY i could EVER get up thta fast

  • When did he fall down??

  • 5:42... okay

  • the guy who fell is my friend josh bowman. hes beast

  • Amazing Recovery!

  • what heads do they use????

  • brand is remo

tenor head i think is emperor something

    snare mabey whitemax?

  • snare is remo

  • No duh

  • someone asked down there, and the snare head is remo not literally snare. no need to be a smart ass holy dive. grow a pair

  • 3:35 mallet feature O_O.....

  • RCC really should have won... I mean... seriously.

  • no.....a harder show+a cleaner show=a rightful victory

  • Lmfao.

    You're ignorant aren't you?

  • ignorance is bliss!

  • Silence is golden.

  • I wouldnt say this show was harder than RCC. Battery wise RCC had a very demanding show. X was just cleaner. Plan and simple.

  • I was there.

Can't believe RX beat out RCC... :/

  • Ouch, how's you're rib cage feeling at 5:43, that didn't look too fun

  • I'm sorry, but this show is terribly paced. The Finals show was amazing though. Its crazy to see how much was changed. Like, SO MUCH. but seriously, this show was just weird in the beginning. Good thing they changed all of the awkward stuff for finals. It sure paid off in the end.

  • LMAO at the guy that fell!!! That has to suck so bad. Good recovery though, gotta hand it to him.

  • oh man thats gotta suck, I've def. done that before

  • 5:43. he tripped. uh oh.

  • ouch!

  • yesss!!!! awesome drill!!! haha

  • To better convey the concept? There's not much of a concept to convey...

  • Yes, to better convey the show concept.

  • anybody know why they changed the book so much?

  • WOw. they changed a lot this for finals! I like the championships version much better.

  • Nobody has the finals video of anyone?

  • go to Vimeo (dot) com and they have RX, RCC, MCM, and the top three PSW groups

  • isn't one of the tenor players nearly blind?

  • Yup, it's the bald one

  • ya. when he learns music he has to use a special eye glass to read each line of music and memorize it as he goes. my drum instructor marched spirit with him.

  • Were's the bass guitar solo? I was at that show and remember it but I can't find it!!!

  • theres a bass guitar solo?

  • I could've swore there was. At least I remember one being played at the Dayton regonal and I'm pretty sure it was X... but it might've been someone else. I don't know

  • There was the solo, if you look back in my videos, I have their show from the first weekend out. And it's there, they just took it out at the end of the season.

  • First of all yes. this show got first. but this was early in the season. they changed so much since this show its not funny. i wanna see eyou guys with your little comments to play the stuff they play with hands like them.

  • good show, but i think most ppl agree the last years show was better

  • the one that tripped was from Cadets. Might i add that two friends that marched cadets said he was the tick this past season

  • actually he was not from cadets. he's one of my close friends. he was from Crown. doesn't really matter if he was the tick, period. He now has two gold Medals. :-)

  • @gibraltar2412 No, he never marched Crown. He marched Spirit, Cadets and Blue Devils

  • go snoid!

  • This won? Meh.

  • they added a lot of stuff from then to world championships and it was clean as hell in finals

  • so ur tellin me this show won 1st???

    hahaha i guesss

  • this show and finals night were two totally different products.

    they earned it.

  • They deffinatley pulled something out of their asses for WGI because they were getting slapped around by MCM everywhere they went, but it was a great show in the end so they deffinatley deserved it, RCC's show had more depth though

  • the end snare trips and falls at 5:43 ish

  • They were totally amazing on Saturday night! I was also digging the Xylosynth. That is a really cool MIDI controller. Everyone needs one! Congrats RX!

  • What's everyone's thoughts on the snare-tenor stick toss at finals ?

    That was BOSS.

    and this show was BA

  • Outstanding, that is what that toss was! Outstanding!

  • Hahaha the tenor player Ryan Claus used to be our quad tech at Avon H.S.

  • What was this show about?

  • RHYTHM X AWESOME!! 97.26=boss

  • Congradulations to RX for their accomplishments over the past few weeks.

  • They had a great show last night, though I feel it wasn't epic as last year's Gone. Still, they deserved it :)

  • this won WGI Worlds last night and deserverd it. 97.288 or sumthin

  • I agree ...97.263

I saw them in the lot, it was amazing :)

  • Did nobody catch the stick drop at 4:16 ?

  • Imagine if the guy who fell broke his jaw or something during a show...oww. but im likin the recovery

  • idk im a little dissapointed since last year practically blew my mind.

still quality here, but im not diggin it as much

  • 5:45

    nice recovery

  • I hate this show concept...

  • i liked gone a lot more, but the pyramids were sweet, and the guitar player went to my high school, and it's fucking rhythm x. still badass. and better than matrix.

  • i agree.. i still want MCM to win it all though... haha

  • lol. theyre battery is big enough for outdoor, jeez.

  • alright, worlds are in a week, predictions?

  • Comment removed

  • i feel like its a step down from last years show. not bad at all, but i really think rcc is going to take it.

  • hahahahaha!!! Watch the snare fall at 5:40

  • people fall down. don't be a dick.

  • Wow seriosly? laughing at something funny, even if it be someone falling, doesn't necessisarily make you a dick. Hell, if it were one of my friends, I'd probably still be laughing. Just take in the joke, and relax. He wasn't hurt or anything.

  • haha. you thought i was serious too?

i'm just bustin chops. rhythm x is boss.

  • for real.

  • Ok, just a few things to point out to everyone...First, The Tenor player can only see out of his peripherals. Second, they DID win championships for their class with a 94.6. Lastly, their show is all about the sense of touch, if you notice, all throughout the show, people hug, hold, touch others, so the show did flow quite well. oh, and BTW...Go WHS!

  • Love the Jason Mraz opener.

  • Comment removed

  • their outfits look kinda like bluecoats'

  • RCC has more ingenuity and creativity.

  • Ain't doin it for me...Gone was soo much better

  • I liked Gone a lot better! And I heard that one of the tenor players is blind??? Is this true?

  • yeah but he can see shadows and thats it.Go CCHS!

  • He is soooo good! That's so bad ass.

  • He isn't completely blind, just partially. He has macular degeneration, a medical condition which results in loss of vision, but not necessisarily blindness (though it can lead to that).

  • are they wearing velvet? haha figures..

it doesn't seem to flow very well, there is one idea going and then they just jump in with another. Hopefully they will figure things out by championships

  • Shit loads of beef will not win the show.

  • Damn, feel sorry for that snare player at 5:40-5:45

Good recover though, could've been worse. Glad the line after him didn't trip over him to cause an even bigger fall. I've seen it happen before, sucks.

  • WTF

A shit load of cymbals and snares??

  • sweet vid! they were at troy athens today, but our line left before we could see them.

  • it was a good show. haha the snares were being funny at finals

  • I was expecting to hear some familiar JT songs but I guess they didn't do it this year.

  • like their 07 show, that wouldve been sweet.

  • This show isn't really that entertaining visually.

  • Too big of a line for indoor, IMO

  • im a rhythm x freak but this does not do it for me

  • As much as I like rhythm x. Gone was a better show.

  • 9 or 10 snares ? and is that justin ? from MCM and Bluecoats? I didn't see him in MCM this year, maybe he's moved on ?....

  • yup thats him

  • meh? seems uncharacteristic... almost as if they were high when they designed the show

But what heads are the tenors using?

  • krebs-a-lebs

  • that one snare ate it hella hard.

  • show just doesn't do it for me.

  • This show is awesome at the end...but the first seems a little awkward.

I don't know...I still think "Gone" was a better show.

  • Yeah, this show was really good, don't get me wrong. It's just this show and "Gone" have such a different vibe and feel. "Gone" just blew me away... it was so sick!

  • that pit is cold at 3:30 swear it is

  • I'm jealous of the funk break.

  • i think the reason why that guy fell was the intervals were really tight. thats what i think/ good recovery though. he came right on the little snare break

    awsome show too!!!!!!!!!

  • that snare fell like a champ though

    this show is amazing

  • That full battery shot at 3:35 just gets me every time. Sweet moment right there.

  • yea its perfect

  • thank you so much for this. just great

  • The last minute and a half of this show must some sort of record for most notes played in that time frame...wow

  • It sounds real nice for the size of the line, and that quadline is great, this early in the season, I think. I bet they sound amazing in the end.

  • If JUSTIN LEWIS isn't even center you know they are going to kick ass this season!

  • bad, section leader....

  • Who is Justin Lewis?

  • center for MCM (last year) and center for Bluecoats, and a boss...

  • center for bluecoats in 07/08, center at mcm in 08

  • around 5:40 a snare falls :O

  • does he?

  • yea..

  • best line ive seen so far this year. looks like they might take it again........nibbles is the fuckin man!!!

  • Hahahaha!

At 0:59, the xylophone plays almost exactly, "It's my dick in a box!"

    Just noticed that. xD

  • yes thank you for noticing that, we were taking bets on if some would notice...

  • "there is no show without dick in the box" - pit tech
