  • This is not about black or white...no matter if had done something wrong... There are other means ...this is unacceptable procedure to a defenseless man in custody he possed no danger in order for the bastard cop to shoot him. He should be charged with murder and face death in jail by another big inmate as he found out what he did.

  • ACAB/ACAC!!

  • I thought It was only the Egyptian police who has such crimes...

    May God save this world.

  • Cops are given a inch in power, but they take a mile.

  • Don t worry you scumbag bat fags in uniform you keep enforcing your codes and statues for your New World Order your day of justice will be coming soon, what goes around comes around sooner or later END THE FED! AND ALL WHO SUPPORT IT

  • @justaguyX74NJ

Are you fucking for real??? The current violent police state we are living under gets more out of control everyday!! The police have no right to inflict ANY bodily harm on a SUSPECT, but yet cops employ stromtrooper tactics,of pushing all their weight into spines and spines, potentially causing grave bodily injury! You're telling me, that with all those PIGS there, they were in some sort of mortal danger?? The bystanders should have rose up and put down these murderous officers!!

  • Here's a novel idea.... DON'T BREAK THE LAW, DON'T BE A DOUCHEBAG, DON'T RESIST ARREST, DON'T BE A PIECE OF SHIT TROUBLE MAKING GANG MEMBER. If it takes THREE COPS to hold you down and try to cuff you, YOU ARE NOT COOPERATING!!! I'm not saying he deserved to get shot, but he PUT HIMSELF in that situation by being a DELINQUENT!!! He could have avoided the entire situation by being a good person and behaving appropriately.

  • @justaguyX74NJ What i dumb ass comment, i hope the police shoots you or your family like this and see how you or your family likes it!

  • @damian246 Unfortunately that comment is true. Oscar did NOT deserve to die and that cop is working in the wrong profession, but people like Oscar need to cooperate and not be out at midnight on BART looking for trouble. He did indeed put himself in harms way.

  • @Raidermista How can you put yourself in harms way when you on the ground? And every Human has a right to stand up for himself, even when cops ask you to do something. If a cop says jump, we dont need to say how high! Cops are no gods and they are not always right. I got some cops as family and even they say alot of their fellow policeman abuse their power. If Oscar had a gun or somekind of weapon it was a different story, but he did not.

  • @damian246 Was Oscar being out late looking for trouble, especially in this area? Yes. Unfortunately he ran into the wrong cop who also shouldn't be working in his profession. Oscar was no "angel" and he put himself in the mess he got into. Very unfortunate...

  • @Raidermista Angel or not, if that is putting yourself in a situation were you can get shot, i feel sorry for Americans. Unfortunate death by cop gun while laying on the ground, does not sound like "land of the free" to me!

  • @justaguyX74NJ

Even though this cop is guilty of manslaughter (at the very least) or Murder.

You act as if it's OK because he was as you said a "delinquent".

People and Police like you need a reality check.

Your a real piece of chit.

  • @justaguyX74NJ dont be unarmed practice your right to bear arms and protect yourself at all cost even if you have to kill every punk ass crooded cop there is

  • @justaguyX74NJ were you there? did you see him being any of those things? because it turns out he wasn't any of those. being a good person and behaving appropriately never made anyone safe when it comes to cops. Amadou Diallo was shot 14 times by six cops that fired 41 shots when he was reaching for his wallet to give the cops his ID because he barely spoke any English. He was a 23 Guinean cab driver who had come to America for opportunity and ended up stuffed in a coffin.

  • i cant beleive their is people who support this killer cop.one year jail sentence for blatant murder.this kid was unarmed and cooperating .to the sheeple who say "one less gangsta".what if this was your son brother, nephew would you want justice?

  • i don't understadn, aren't the taser guns big bulky and yellow? so that they CAN'T be confused for the LETHAL weapon?

  • @CRYST2SHELL Oh please, you should hear New York when they use the "wallet looked like a gun" excuse.

  • man i wish i can do that to someone and get 1 year in prison LUCKY.....

  • Where is the need to even taser an unarmed man on his stomach in handcuffs??

  • people need to rise up against the piggies who would rather murder us. Rise up!

  • accident my arse, fuck the police!

  • It is amazing how many people are trying to jusify what happened to Oscar Grant. What I don't get is how the fuck do you mistake a gun for a taser? They are two entirely different weapons. The officer got off way too easy and I feel for the family, unfortunately they never had a chance. It is appauling to me that an officer can say, "sorry judge I seem to have drawn the wrong weapon and shot this kid in the back" and gets less than 2 years. Justice my ass!!!

  • Here in Los Angeles it has always for as long as I've been riding the trains, been the policy of the Sheriffs that frequently patrol it, that whenever there is trouble. They pull the troublemaker off and cuff them. No questions asked, just cuff them, sort everything out once they get them to the station.

  • fukin bitch as pig only got 3 years wit time served... and he tried to run n got caught.. bull shit take someones life who is hand cuffed not posing any type of threat laying face down,, n get away wit it..

  • if i see that cop in real life his ass would be dead in a second.cops r fuckin bitches!!

  • @stevo199103 How? Are you really that ugly that he would drop dead from the sight of you?

  • this video seems to show quite well that leading up to his murder Grant was not showing signs of aggression or violence. notice how their first reaction is to round up the scene and shoo the spectators away. if they actually gave a fuck about the life they just put in jeopardy maybe the first thing you would see/hear them doing is calling for paramedics on scene asap. this is why i think all officers one scene are guilty, not sure of what charge, but it would seem they all suck at their job.

  • @jrowe6 Exept he kept getting up when ordered to remain seated (after assaulting 2 officers). He tried to roll on his back so he couldn't be cuffed, and put his hands under his body. Shoo the spectators away? 8-9 people encroached on officers, refused their commands to stay back, and 3 of them assaulted officers! BTW, paramedics were called immediately, the moment after the shot was fired. You really just make this shit up as you go along, don't you?

  • @ssn708 i cant find any information or a video that shows the timeline when paramedics were called in. to me, any video that shows the shooting should show an officer radio for help, that is if the officers are competent and at all concerned for the life of Grant. it should have been an immediate reaction to call paramedics to the scene. there is however, plenty of information about Pirone ordering the trains away and ordering incoming trains to pass through and not use the station.

  • @jrowe6 at the same time Pirone is calling for a paramedic and avoids telling the operator who the shooter is, but continues to insist they send help and shut down the trains. that i believe is a criminal act, the operator and the paramedics need to know exactly what happened to properly prep for the scene. like i said, there is no time stamp for this shit so at the moment i do not know how long after Grant was shot Pirone waited to call an ambulance to the scene. do you know?

  • @jrowe6 also, if Pirone's reasoning for dismissing the trains was to clear out the area for medics that is great, but i have my doubts based on the recordings. at this point, i agree with Mehserle's conviction as non-murder, but i dont think the punishment for that is severe enough. this man killed someone, intentions and motives aside, someone is dead due 100% to his actions. As for Pirone, he got what he deserves.

  • @jrowe6 I do agree that Pirone should have been fired. Hell, he shouldn't have been a cop in the first place. I believe that Mehserle was criminally negligent and deserves prison. I do have to disagree with the "due 100% to his actions", Grant did not have to fight on the train. Grant had every opportunity to comply with officers and not put himself in a position where he was endangered. He bears some responsibility for the position he placed himself in.

  • @ssn708 wow... all i can say to u is wow, ur a fucking moron i hope u realize that, how do u know that he didnt intend to kill him?? cus he said so?? bcus the other cops said so?? o my, u are so right they wouldnt defend him, he would admit to wrongfully killing someone with 3 cops on him laying face down, ur right they would all admit to it... man girl whatever u are wake the fuck up ur a fucking moron plain and simple... its pretty pathetic how u feel this was unintentional face the facts

  • @jrowe6 The actual call to the paramedics was not made by Pirone. Pirone did also call a code three and requested an ambulance, but the original call came from officer Guerra immediately after the shot was fired. It also looks as though it was Domenici who ordered trains away, not Pirone. All of the audio clips to and from dispatch were released to the public, you should be able to find them with no problem since you are obviously a resourceful researcher.

  • @jrowe6 There were at least 6 officers on scene, most off camera. Mehserle did not call, he began first aid once Grant stopped fighting with him (even after being shot he fought, which is understandable at that point)The paramedics were in fact called moments after the shooting. Obviously the order would be made to redirect trains from a fatal crime scene, makes sense to me.

  • The killing of the black was justified and it WAS on purpose haha.

There isn't shit you negroes can do about it either.

  • @Nopartyforme82

I feel the same way about the redneck whites being killed at Waco, TX by the FBI and ATF.

  • Bad judgment from the cop to try to stop the perpetrator resisting by shooting his gun in his direction. In saying that he looked like he just meant to fire a warning shot but was under too much stress from all the abuse. The more people disrespect the police the harder it is for them to avoid accidents like this.

  • cops=useless pigs

  • fuck that fagget ass cop, pisses me off everytime i see this shit, my love goes out to oscar grant and his family, no one deserves to get cuffed and shot in the back of the head..when your cuffed who pulls out a tazer any ways??? i guess the saying is right though.. were all oscar grant..

  • @SFourtyniner

    1) Oscar Grant was NOT handcuffed. That simply is a FACT. He was NOT handcuffed.

    2) Oscar Grant was not shot in the head. He was shot in a NON-VITAL area of the back, where one would fire a taser. It was the ricochet that pierced Grant's lung.

  • @ssn708 Where can one find that detailed information? Just wondering.

  • @jjlinert Which detailed information specifically? I will be happy to share where it can be found, it just takes some time and research.

  • @831tillidie Grant most assuredly was NOT cuffed. Had he allowed himself to be cuffed he would not have been shot. Mehserle intended to tase, not shoot, Grant. That was proven beyond any possible contradiction in court.

  • i heard he died, is that true?

  • @ssn708

How can you sleep at night? Your attempt at rationalizing this is pathetic let alone borderline stupid. You obviously have no clue what a gun feels like. And one pound is pretty significant given the fact your dealing with small objects. You might not notice a one pound difference when lifting say 50lbs but when dealing with a 2kg object a pound makes a whole world of difference. The logic and mathematics behind your rebuttal is hogwash. Simply put your playing devils advocate here.

  • @kingsrecords I sleep fine at night, because I know the FACTS support everything I have said. I have never justified the shooting in any way, only that Mehserle intended to pull his taser after Grant assaulted two cops, and resisted arrest. Sorry if you can not accept the truth. Yes, I know what a gun feels like, I am more familiar than most. How much difference in pressure needed between your gas and brake pedal? Quite a bit. Yet dozens panic every year and hit the wrong one. It's called PANIC.

  • @ssn708 You a fool. Dying is your only punishment, fcker.

  • @visionimagify Ah yes, you wish death upon someone for simply speaking their mind and supporting it with proven verifiable facts. How quaint. The only fools are those who believe a cop with a family and a future would throw it all away by executing a complete stranger in front of dozens of witnesses for no reason at all, especially when it was proven to be accidental. What a pathetic hypocritical jackass you are. Please, do society a favor, don't breed.

  • @ssn708 I shall breed many more of my seed and they will trample you. Diseased, pale inbreed.

  • @visionimagify You exhibit all of the intelligence of a box of hair. Really dumb hair. Good luck to you and your retarded offspring

  • @ssn708 Oh my gawd, weirdo. Stop messaging me. JeeZUS!

  • @visionimagify Holy crap, I am not "messaging" you, you fucking moron. I am responding to you on a public discusson board, where you addressed me first. Get a clue, would you?

  • @ssn708 Go take a dildo and go fuck you yourself. Later..

  • @visionimagify Further proving your lack of basic intelligence or the most rudimentary of communication skills. Go fuck YOURself. You responded to ME, you pathetic little closet homo. Does your mommy know you are talking to adults online? She would be mighty cross with you, young man.

  • @ssn708 Done with that dildo yet?

  • @visionimagify Apparently not, he keeps responding to me.

  • @ssn708 Understandable that Geant shouldn't have struggled, but cops shoot strangers for no reason all the time. Just because he has a career and family means nothing. I don't believe Grant woke up thinking, "hey I think I am going to cause trouble so that I can die and leave my family behind today." Grant had things to live for too.Whether or not the cop had a reason for shooting him he should have been held accountable for his actions, mistake or otherwise. I see this happening way too much.

  • @MsBighungry I in no way justify it. But in regards to your post, Grant may not have "decided" to go start trouble, but the simple fact is that he had a strong habit of doing so (12 arrests in 4 years, most of them involving resisting arrest or assault on cops, deadly weapons charges, etc). Mehserle had no such habit. I have always said Mehserle deserves prison, my only point is that it was an accident, not an intentional act of murder.

  • @ssn708 stfu you Faux News Glen Beck worshipping Sara Palin voters are always lying to justify a white man's fuck-up. THE COP FUCKED UP and killed an unarmed man. And you recuse him of his fatal incompetence by saying "well the kid deserved it, after all he was a BLACK trouble maker..." This wasn't a DRUG BUST. That kid didn't have concealed WMDs. Disgracefully disgusting that you woould stoop so low to deflect from the FACT that this MURDER was UNJUSTIFIABLE. DEFLECTION: a REPUBLICAN art form

  • @ssn708, well as soon as you put a gun in your hand, and as soon as you pull the trigger, it is NOT considered as accident nor not intentional nor mistake, when you reach your gun once it is in your hand you DEFINATELY know it is a gun and not a taser especially when they re kept either side of body, you can say WHATEVER you want to say otherwise, I WONT believe you!..anyway i was just giving my thoughts on this, that s it, im done posting now otherwise its gonna be non stop! peace to Oscar!

  • @762den You are mistaken across the board. He had both his gun and taser on the same side. There is a video where he had his taser out and you can see him re-holster it on the same side. The weight difference is less than 1 pound. I can say whatever I want? What I am saying is proven fact, and what you are saying has nothing whatsoever to back it but ignorance and paranoia. I am sorry you can not believe the truth or proven facts, that is very sad for you.

  • he should be ROTTING on DEATH ROW and then be EXECUTED the same way he EXECUTED that Oscar!!!or even worse electric chair DRY!!!!THAT is WHAT this BASTARD DOG DESERVE ALONG WITH ALL THOSE PEOPLE COVERING UP, ALL OF THEM!!!!they dont need be on the surface of THE EARTH!!people get the death penalty for making real crimes and get excuted like 12-14years later!!this guy might have done bit of trouble in the train, he get killed on the spot???for what reason??JOHANNES MEHSERLE you need to DIIIE!!!!!

  • @762den Ah yes, and I suppose the father in Wisconsin who recently accidentally shot and killed his son while removing the gun from its case should be executed the same way? This was an accident, not an execution.

  • Haha, he will be out in 7months, not even 2 years.

    JUSTICE :)

  • @ssn708 And what if it were white guy contained lying face down and black officer shot him the same way as in this video??huh?.......just one word:.. BASTARDS!!!!!!

  • @ssn708 And what about that trash jazzbo13 comment?huh?

1 week ago "They should have given him a medal. One less nigger is always a good thing." you didnt react on that huh? ,"...I've got a wonderful wife, thanks for your concern....." bla bla bla, ..!!!you hypocrites bastard!! and there is no need to reply, leave it as it is!!, what do you think?, ...the medias are corrupt, we all know that except you?this is sad world!!!..watch body language of everyone in this video and you tell me!!!

  • @762den I will never say there is no racism, no police corruption or brutality, or no idiots out there. They exist in every walk of life. And what if it was a White guy? Out of the 8 other situations where an officer intended to tase and shot a suspect, most have been White or Latino. Those cops were not even charged, so THAT is what if it were a White guy. The cop would not be charged and you would never hear about it.

  • @ssn708 Obviously you must be white to talk like that, otherwise not possible, dont you get it??you stubborn!!many users have made comments to make it clear but you refuse to see it??you must be some undercover corrupted cop to make people believe your rubbish you ve been writing so far!! where is this a mistake?? where is this panic??the poor guy is CONTAINED lying face DOWN on his stomach!!!!and HANDCUFFED!!look GRANT's body during the shot!! this is MURDER!!!!!!now dont bother reply, WE KNOW!

  • Even if he was trying to taser him..... WHY?

Cops are using tasers to treat people they percieve need treatment. As though they are doctors curing the ills of society by administering electroshock therapy.

ARE WE NOW TO CONSIDER COPS DOCTORS?

Human physiology is not compatible with passing electric charges, many people have died as a result.

So, whether he shot with a 45, or a taser.... His intent was to kill, or in the least, put this persons life in great jeopardy.

  • what did the suspect do? If he was a murderer or pedohile, who the fuck cares?

  • Lil wayne got more time for having a gun than this guy got for killing a man! prisonradio.ord mumia abu jamal essays listen up

  • Fuck this pig he only got two years while Michael Vick got four years for killing some damn dogs just goes to show you that racism is far from over

  • fuccen disgusting that

    bxtcass nigguhz deserves the

    fuccen death pealty!!!

hang that fool, fuccen hang the

    bastard!!!!!

    how the fucc could someone

    do something so cruel!!!!

    fuccen punkass bxtch!!!

bastard!!! may this nigguh rote in HELL!!!!

  • Disgusting fuck. Hang him. Torture the fuck first for killing someone in handcuffs. DISGUSTING BASTARD.

  • @CalvinMcCaskill Ah, another person spreading the lie that Grant was handcuffed? Really? Do a little research, would you? He was not handcuffed, he was resisting arrest and put his hand in his pocket. When you do that, you get tased. The cop fucked up and grabbed the wrong weapon, for that he absolutely deserves jail time. Criminal negligence resulting in homicide. But quit spreading lies, such as Grant was handcuffed.

  • one less coon to worry about.sad that cop has to spend one second in jail. i dont see a crime commited.

  • An old word we must learn again: Cowardice. It has two parts: reluctance to confront a dangerous opponent and, more important, eagerness to use excessive force against an obviously weaker opponent. Already in handcuffs, Oscar Grant was obviously weaker. Too many cops today are cowards, as is Mr. Mehserle. They become cops hoping a badge will make them brave; it never does. It only makes them dangerous as it did Mr. Mehserle. We must weed cowards out of the police for public safety.

  • its a us style police they shoot first than talk i cal them gunbunny,s

  • @ErdTirdMans Right... and I am willing to bet that an idiot like you is also for the death penalty right?

  • so many lives ruined in a matter of seconds.

  • Comment removed

  • This douche bag got away with only two years in prison. Hopefully he gets his throat slashed inside.

  • @Mattm1986 i just read it's only 7months with time served.

  • @akai1sora

Thats bullshit. He should have gotten 10-15 years minimum.

  • They should have given him a medal. One less nigger is always a good thing.

  • fuck the US system

  • "Those who kill their own children and discriminate daily against them because of the color of their skin; those who let the murderers of blacks remain free, protecting them, and furthermore punishing the black population because they demand their legitimate rights as free men — how can those who do this consider themselves guardians of freedom?" -CHE

  • @ssn708 You are so afraid of sending an innocent man to jail that you are willing to let a guilty one go free?

  • @STROLLER213 "Better that a hundred guilty persons should escape than that one innocent person should suffer." Benjamin Franklin, Letter from Benjamin Franklin to Benjamin Vaughan (Mar. 14, 1785), in 9 Benjamin Franklin, Works 293 (1970).

Or maybe you prefer the sentiment of Pol Pot, architect of the massacres of millions of people in Cambodia, who said that "It is better that ten innocent men should suffer than that one guilty one should go free."

The U.S.A. is better than that.

  • @STROLLER213 Absolutely. There is no doubt in my mind which one is the greater injustice, and there should be no doubt in yours either.

  • Hahaha, that nigga Vick gets four years for killing a dog and this Swine gets 2 years for killing a human. Justice is SERVED!

  • @chringbing Vick did much more than "kill a dog", and Mehserle made a mistake. Huge difference between the two.

  • @ssn708 Murder is a mistake? Just because he's associated with the government doesn't mean he is vindicated of deliberate murder.

  • @mashed107 He was not vindicated, it was not deliberate, it was not murder. You need to educate yourself. It is a proven FACT that Mehserle intended to tase, not shoot Grant.

  • Comment removed

  • @ssn708 Sorry dude, I think humans > dogs. Torturing a dog is still not as bad as killing a human in my book. But then again, I s'pose it was a black human...

  • @chringbing Race has nothing to do with it, those saying otherwise are ignorant or cowards. 8 other officers had made the same mistake, grabbing a gun when they intended to tase. Most of those suspects were Latino or White. What Vick did was the intentional act of a very sick person. Mehserle made a mistake when apprehending a violent career criminal. HUGE difference.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSevenmind Do you realize that this exact same incident, a cop intending to tase and shooting a suspect, has happened 8 times before? Do you realize that most of the suspects were Latino and White? There goes your little race theory. Quit bringing race into a situation where it has not place. This was an accident. If a White man runs stop light and hits a Black man, is that a racial issue? I Guess I will blame every Black man for the one who raped a friend of mine. How very silly of you.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSevenmind You are obviously a racist, and an ignorant one at that. 8 officers have made the same mistake, grabbing their pistol when they intended to tase. And guess what? Most of the suspects were Latino or White. One cop was Latino, and at least one was Black. White police are committing black genocide? You are SO full of shit. Black people are committing Black genocide. Why are there so many Black victims of police? Maybe because they commit 85% of ALL violent crime?Fix your own house 1st

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSevenmind You need help, pal. So, no Blacks, no Asians, no Latinos make mistakes, but now they are part of a vast conspiracy? Really, lay off the crack pipe.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSevenmind Maybe I do not understand what you are saying because you have absolutely no command of the English language whatsoever? Try using proper spelling and grammar, I don't speak idiot. Everything I have been able to glean from your statements has been complete bullshit, but very little of it is even discernible as a language at all.

This are serous manner that you should be concern off, if you can you should go with your wife, it would be more hopeful; to your future children, good luck and best of luck.

  • @TheSevenmind You have proven with every post you are an idiot, much more effectively than I ever could. Thanks for saving me the effort! Please keep posting and proving it, again and again.

  • @ssn708 ,

a human died because of the 'mistake'! Why pulling a gun, when someone is on the floor and handcuffed?!?

    You tell me!

  • @FrankypankyV8 Well, first and foremost, because he WAS NOT handcuffed. That's the big one. Had he allowed himself to be handcuffed he would have lived that night, just like his friends who complied with officers. But he chose instead to assault two officers, and pull his hand away, placing it under his body. When you do that, you get tased. Mehserle intended to tase him, and this was proven. He screwed up huge, and absolutely deserves what he got, but Grant was not cuffed and resisted arrest.

  • @chringbing "Those who kill their own children and discriminate daily against them because of the color of their skin; those who let the murderers of blacks remain free, protecting them, and furthermore punishing the black population because they demand their legitimate rights as free men — how can those who do this consider themselves guardians of freedom?" -CHE

  • It was an accident, thats clear. But what kind of fucking cop doesn't know the difference between a taser and a gun? I didn't even see resistance enough to even use a taser! Kid was hand cuffed!

  • @mike74ny No, HE ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT handcuffed!!! Had he allowed himself tro be handcuffed, we would not be having this discussion, He resisted arrest (after assaulting 2 officers), would not give his hands to be cuffed, and put his hand in his pocket where he easily could have had a weapon. Mehserle panicked and pulled the wrong weapon, just like dozens panic each year and hit the gas instead of the brake. Panic robs you of reason.

  • the cop looks unrepentent. He walks straight and looks in the eye rather than looking down. He is handed just 9 more months in jail. He will forget everything what about the killed man's family, his daughter. The void can never be filled even by the victim's family getting 1.5 million dollars.

  • @gelmaster1 Except he looked distraught the moment he pulled the trigger. He cried as the paramedics were wheeling Grant out. He cried when making his statement, after sentence had already been decided.

  • @ssn708 ,

You really will do everything to talk this right, aren't you?

  • lol, your police officers are acting like in a third world countries :DDD

  • People are going to be mad but after the Mehserle video, it shines a different light.

Either way he will be doing time, and if it was a mistake he has to live with it

(''that mistake'') for the rest of his life. What does anyone know about that?

And if the African Americans are so tight and care about each other then stop the shooting in Oakland.

  • @MsAmbjorn yeah..black on black crime really needs to stop you are right....but that has nothing to do with police brutallity...thats the issue at hand!

  • Comment removed

  • ACAB FROM ITALY

  • He had no reason to even taser the man! Hes was already down and I didnt see any danger If the cop felt he was in danger than he was in the wrong line or work!!!

  • liberty and democracy!!

ENJOY THE NEW WORLD (SATANIC) ORDER

  • kill yourself...please...do it....

  • the crowd should of bum rushed the cops and beat the shit out of them....

  • There was a good article in Police Beat Magazine about this shooting, although complety unjustified the officer admitted he mad a mistake. He apparently had intened to taser the supect but out of previous training had drawn his pistol instead of his taser. Officer was wrong, should probably be charged with manslaughter since it wasnt intentional. Just my thoughts.

  • @dallasfan2112 He was charged with murder, but the jury found it to be involuntary manslaughter (because it was). He faces 3-14 years when sentenced next month.

  • And on second look., I think the cops to lose more then his badge... it looks like he stepped back to shoot..take this cops freedom.

  • @jdb79jdb79 They already did take his freedom. He is in jail and faces 3-14 when sentenced. And he would have stepped the same way to tase. What he would not have done is intentionally fire a .40 cal downward at that angle and distance against a hard surface. Ricochet could easily kill himself or other officers. This was an accident, he intended to tase, as was effectively proven in court.

  • @ImPrettySureImRight... I think that its foolish to think a good way to regain civilian composure would be to fire your weapon.. There's no reason that I see that the police officer should have even had his gun out. Careless, stupid, and reckless behavior on the officers part... Now somebody's dead and he's got to live with that forever.

  • that cop should go kill himself r somethin. i hope he dies. honestly. a painful lethal injection without audience would be the best for him. PEACE TO THE PEACEFUL.

  • Try to realize that this one cop's actions does not represent the rest of law enforcement. If you read the case, the officer proclaimed several times "stop resisting, im going to taze you." He then pulled his gun out thinking it was his tazer and fired at grant. You can see him freak out after he had shot him. Now the fact that the cop cant tell the difference from his gun and his tazer is beyond me. But this was a honest mistake. I agree he does deserve Jail time.

  • @TroopahSupah I agree with you man, its just a sad sight to see, with everything thats going on with the world today and the majority of america's views on blacks this was bound to happen and trust me it won't be the last time. I just wish it was something I could do to change all that you know?

  • All you stupid blind coward people that justifies the abuses of these nasty afraid law owned people that is called police please review your world view content. This is not what we are alive for, there is no excuse. This is serious, and racist comments can only come from people that is scared of life. You can always do the work to become a better human being, please grow up. Let's change this world to a better place....

  • I support police officers but this was murder.

  • @ladyfire9302 Yes but 12 people didn't seem to think that.

  • @ladyfire9302 No, this was involuntary manslaughter. He intended to tase Grant, and this was effectively proven in court. Murder requires intention. It requires malice aforethought. This was not murder.

  • This is no laughing matter. It's not really a racial thing...Cops are getting away with FULL head on murder....Their never charged, their never let off from work...

Why did the officer even draw his gun? Oscar didn't even resist. He didn't fight, he didn't charge the officer. He just simply laid down and did what he was told. And the officer drew his weapon and fired. For what? The law as well as the government are killing innocent people and are getting NO out come of justice for it

  • @Mayuniko The only racial component would be people like you trying to inject race into it. Grant was fighting on the train. Not because he was Black, because he was a thug. Mehserle attempted to tase Grant, not because he was Black, but because he was a thug who was resisting arrest. Oscar DID resist, he also assaulted 2 officers. He did not lay down and do as told, he fought with them for 30 seconds. He wouldn't give his hands. Your comments are wrong across the board.

  • @ssn708 Wrong...from what i've seen and heard he was shot for no reason. i can also see your correcting people just because you think your logic is correct, WRONG. You probably looked up this video just to annoy people. my comment is old...DIRT old...i can understand if it was like 1 week old, but wow...

  • @ssn708 and for your info...my comment has nothing racial in it smart ass...It says nothing about him being BLACK...i simply said the law was getting away with innocent murder, and he was shot an unarmed man. calm down. didnt mean to blow up your house with my out going comment

  • @Mayuniko 1) You said it wasn't really a racial issue, I was agreeing with you

    2) It is not my logic, it's the evidence, facts, and a jury who had all of the above. He was shot because the cop intended to tase him, panicked, and drew the wrong weapon. This is not my "logic", this was effectively proven in court. And no, I looked up this video, and the 5 others shot from different angles, because ignorant people are spreading lies such as "Grant was handcuffed" or "This was murder".

  • @ssn708 What are you the defense attorney for this killer? This man didnt accidentally shoot this man he did it with malice and is upset it was caught on tape. You hold a taser differently from holding a handgun. Also the type of taser being used by these police officers is half the weight & has a different color from any type of handgun and most have a bright color strip as well.BART has finally seen the light and fired the other 2 cops as well. This was a bunch of incompetent, overzealous cops.

  • @mightyquinn42437 I have repeatedly said that Mehserle's actions were criminal, and that he absolutely deserves jail time for his criminal negligence.I am not defending Mehserle, just the truth. The M26 taser is black with rubberized handle, just like his gun. You are partially right, although you fire in the same method, your stance and grip are different, and the firearms experts and use of force experts all testified his actions and stance were conisstant with a taser, and not with a firearm

  • @ssn708 Dude how do you panic when a guy has him pinned with his hands behind his back

Its obvious he intentionally killed him because in another version of the video you can hear him say, " shut the fuck up"

    and then he shoots him.

  • @510prodz Actually, what he says is "I can't get his hands. Fuck this, I'm tasing him", not "shut the fuck up". That further proves this was an accident, not intentional. I'm sorry, but if you think that a cop would execute someone for literally no reason in front of dozens of witnesses, that is just not reality. IF he was some rogue, racist, psyco cop, he would simply wait until they were in the squad car or at the station, not in front of a train full of people with cell phone cameras.

  • @ssn708 Well any way, I'm glad the stupid ass cop will be hopefully spending a lot of time in jail.

  • @ssn708 would you say the same if you were the killed man's daughter? What if this could happen to your son, police tases him but a mistake. It is a real gun they forget the are shooting with live bullet rather than a fucking taser. Would you accept the 2 year sentence and a million dollars and say justice is done. Time to move on?

  • @gelmaster1 I know you think you have made a point, but you have not.

I never said Grant's death was justified, and I have always said Mehserle deserves prison. However this was an accident. If my loved one was killed in an accident, I would want blood. But there is a reason we do not let family members decide the fate of those convicted. They can not be dispassionate. They do not care about justice, they seek only retribution. Retribution is directly contrary to the rule of law.

  • @ssn708 justify it howeva u'd like.. police are da biggest gang in america n there is such thing as racial profiling thats at its highest rite now especially with Arabs

  • @pisto613 Re-read, pal. I have NEVER said it was justified, and I am making no attempt to justify it. I am a very vocal advocate of citizens rights over police, I spend a lot of time spreading information on the legality of (and your civic duty TO) film police. THIS INCIDENT was an accident. That is not to say there are not corrupt police, or those who murder. Fong Lee is a perfect example, yes it happens. The GRANT incident was a cop who panicked and drew the wrong weapon. Tragic and criminal.

  • @ssn708 i dissagree...it is reality,,maybe not in your world..but until you have constantly delt with police brutallity, and crooked cops doing unjust to your family, friends and neighbors, you cant say its not reality...iv been around since the 60's, i have seen it first hand...thats reality!
