Unfortunately metal has had a pretty big decline in everyday culture how would you recommend spreading the word and getting an audience for a new metal band?
Important point about the profit. It's not yours to spend as you please. That's what the IRS considers your income. You will learn very quickly about the thin line that separates those who pay no taxes and those who get their balls stomped every April 15th.
