  • Interesting choice at flying so low. I realise with a sim you don't have the possibility of engines failing and I'm not sure how well these things fly with no power (probably about as well as an explosive brick). I bought this sim way back when it came out but didn't have the discipline to learn how to fly it. For that I respect you :) Great landing too. I think if I was going to get into this properly I'd be buying a trackIR and using eyefinity with 3 screens.

  • This game = sex...

  • i suggest 1500 feets for a visual approach in this kind of planes

  • Does this have free flight? Meaning, start up take off, fly around do whatever you want.. and not have to do missions.

  • @TheStellalicious Yes, it comes with empty missions. You can use the mission editor as well and just not place threats.

  • Awesome... just a quick question... but wasn't that a really loose pattern? I would think that normal patterns, especially for the A-10, would be much tighter. I know that for general aviation, you cut power and turn base as you reach the approach end of the runway... just wondering why you flew it that way.

    Best regards....

  • @RyderSpearmann The challenge given was to fly an overloaded A-10 (a few thousand pounds over max gross weight) through one pattern and safely land it. Given that I was outside parameters, I opted against aerobatics and flew the pattern wide and shallow.

  • i suppose you have all graphics in HIGH settings . True ?

  • @jincatelo True.

  • fucking shit...this looks awesome...best footage ever seen from a sim... but do u use TrackIR 4 / 5 or Freetrack?

  • @punisher17011990 TrackIR 5 with the head clip.

  • Did you manage to lock yourself in the cockpit by turning off all the power??

  • @HeadDrauma If I recall correctly, in the game you can operate the canopy with the battery off. No idea if that's how it works in real life.

  • @riscfuture Lets assume its not realsitic: How do you get in? ;)

  • Computer specs please?

  • @maelstormic i7 930 @ 3.5, 6 GB RAM (2000 MHz), Radeon HD 5870 2GB
