Side by side, I vote for Jason Bateman.

And I believe it is in part because I've seen his work since he was a child

- and it is so interesting to see the way his acting skills have evolved. He can master any type of acting. Some don't get his style of humor now, but I think he is brilliant.

If you view his expansive spectrum works, you can tell he has inherent acting abilities. He is outstanding. Period.
