  • Sir do you mind if I ask you what is the camera you are using to make your videos?

They are so nice and crisp and clear, your videos have renewed my passion for watchmaking, thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and experience.

  • @spahlow Thank you very much, that little camera takes amazing videos, you make them look so very professional.

Again thank you for all your hard work, for me this is a highly treasured find, you inspire me greatly sir. I have been watchmaking, self taught now for 11 years, because of your videos I will be able to advance my skills, thank you very much.

  • I did not repivot the pinion, I only cleaned carefully and removed the rust. But first I prepared this chuck for an true running. Another possibility would be to take apart the wheel from the pinion. I did not like that because we must secure the absolute true run like the original fit on.

  • Is the balloon chuck the best way hold the escape wheel if the side with the pinion needs to be drilled and repivoted? I find it hard to hold the pinion and shaft with ought holding onto the pinion teeth.

  • If someday I ever have the funds, I will commission you to make me a watch before I ever buy a Rolex
