Yep. I used the Canon Powershot in "video" mode. I just built a helmet-cam mount for the Powershot. It looks much better than the "handlebar-cam" mount you see here. I'll post the "Helmet-cam" footage I shot in Tamarack soon. You be the judge.

I tried a commercial "Helmet-Cam" by Oregon Scientific but I wasn't happy with the tunnel vision effect. Also no screen on it to review your footage and make sure the camera was aligned properly. So you could finish the ride and plug-in to download and have nothing but dirt, tire or sky video.
Of course I may feel differently if/when I bust the Powershot in a crash.
