  • Great job. I have 4c hair also and yours looks a lot softer than mine. You favor the girl who sang "Bubbling Brown Sugar" on What's Happening. I shall watch more of your videos. Thanks.

  • I love this! Thank you for sharing!

  • Thanks for showing a shorter 'natural' hair style. Others that I have seen their hair is always long and very soft.

  • I ♥ your hair

  • Super cute!!!

  • I will be doing a video called' Black Women's Hair In The Earthy Kingdom of God'.

It will be the talk of all the black women hair forums worldwide!

80% of bw proffess christianity yet very few have ever entertained the idea of God being concerned with their hair. God made us just the way He wanted us. There is no shame whatsoever in wearing natural hair, eating natural food and black women loving their natural selves! sub to be notified. AMEN

  • if you have this, try going under a dryer and saturating it with leave in conditioner.

  • Hello, I am so glad that you show what 4C hair looks like. My hair looks the same way. It is good to see that someone else has hair like mine. I finally just accepted that it is what it is, and I have to work with that. My hair is long (10 inches), but it shrinks up to about 3 inches.

  • 4C hair should be considered type 1 hair because our beautiful kinky hair came first. Every other hair texture came after ours!

  • It turned out really cute

  • How many flexi rods come in a pack?

  • @Pearla8 usually 10

  • I love the results of your flexi set. Also I am so glad that you are on yt, b/c all I see is 4a,4b, and 3c hair on the yt, I'm like there is no way my hair will do that, so you're an inspiration to me. Again thanks a milli.

  • HI. WHAT IS 4C, AND WHAT PRODUCTS DO U USE FOR THE INSTYLER. THANK U

  • @MrPoppavader 4c is a my type of natural hair to style the hair at that time I was using honey wax and curl activator..

  • I love YOUR results..I will now yettgia as well :) THANKS

  • love the hairstyle in the end.

Now, even though I don't apply - because my hair is relaxed - but i tried those same rods and I hate them. I get that same look using setting lotion and sponge rollers.

  • Very cute, girl

  • your hair looks great. I f you want it to look more sleek you can sit under dryer and it would get straight...however i like it this way on you. I tried this on my hair and the curls looked um..manufactured.

  • i love you

  • Did you say sally beauty supply? That's the price I paid to get 3 packs of 10 rods and I end up using 28 rods out of the 30 rods to do my hair. How long do you leave the flexirods in your hair? I keep looking at different videos but no one has said how long you leave rods in. In addition, I just got flexi rods and I left it in 3 hours and it left some curl but not the spiral curls I was looking for.

  • @yaoilovertash i left them in over night... so i gave it atleast 8 - 12 hours and still many times the root i still wet

  • Nice flexi set. Check out my Triple Barrel Waver giveaway.

  • What is 4c hair?

  • @rebornraw a categorization of natural hair based on the curl pattern

  • @rebornraw Hair that has a Z pattern

  • @yaknell ive never see any hair with a z pattern...i'm 4c and i am yet to come across a z strand

    ....

  • This would be better if you got under a hair dryer. It would surprise you how much better it would look. Also you can wrap your hair at night and get a very full roller wrap look. It looks wonderful when you do that. I just got mine done a month ago and kept it in; wrapping it every night for 3 weeks.

  • I know I'm late but do u remember how long this lasted? How did u maintain it @ nite?

  • great tip l was natural for 5 year and l never knew how to style my hair .l got a relaxer and know l want my natural hair back l'm going out my relaxer when l'm natural l need to try this style .thanks for the tip

  • that looks so cute on you! great idea--I must try it

  • nice job. Are sure you have a 4c texture. your hair looks too good to be 4c. i will suggest you double check that info.

  • @Mapassion5: 4C Hair is also Good Hair. Why are people still putting down Our Lovely Afro Kinky Textured Hair? HER HAIR IS TOO NICE to be 4C??? WTH are you Serious. I don't know where you get this from but will suggest you double check that Mentality.

  • @mybrownb Sorry I did not mean to put down our kinky fro. I was talking regarding my own hair. I considere my hair as 4c whith will not give me the look she has. NO no no , I love the 4c but she just has losser curls. May be I did not express myself well. Hope this help. You can also check my channel and see how my hair looks like .Thanck though

  • @Mapassion5: OK.I get it. I'll Check out Your Channel.

  • @Mapassion5 Well if she has looser curls then you're not the type, maybe you're not a 4c.

  • nice job

  • I like the finished look. Looks like nice & soft natural curls...cute

  • Break this down for me if you don't mind. Washed with? Conditioned with? Setting lotion?

  • @redeemed2bfree wash: dr bronner's castile soap mixed with water and evoo . cond. >Shea moisture raw shear butter.. set > honey wax and blue magic curl activation gel .. my " Natural 4C Hair Care Regiment " video will give some info on these products too ... ;)

  • I have a question, it looks like your hair is straight but I thought you did it after you wash and cond., how did you get it to look like that. It just seem that it would come out frizzy. I would like to try this and I really like this style. Thanks

  • @plumlocs Yes flexi rods give a straighter look to ur hair, IDK why the rods do that i ve seen girl w/ 3a and looser textures ... do flexi and their hair looks flat ironed... def give it a try!

  • @LALanguage Thank you, I will try it out and let you know how it turns out, and yes those rods at pricey $3.99 for 6 I was like wow!! LOL!

  • You have such nice skin. What's your secret??? What do you use?

  • @kjanae80 thanks... no secret really i wash with black African soap, toner and lotion... nothing too special

  • @LALanguage: That's the Secret. You Cleanse with Gentle Soap, Tone to balance the skin rid the skin of whatever the soap missed and YOU MOISTURIZE! Great Skincare Regimen.

  • it turned out really cute and I like that headband.

  • It's like you READ my mind! I'm doing flexi rods as soon as I can find them...which is kind of hard.

  • Good Job! I really like it. It looks so soft and shiny too.

  • Beautiful. You have inspired me to try this again. Thanks for sharing.

  • You're hair looks really nice!!! It looks like it might last a few days , too!

  • The curls came out nice.

  • I have 4c/cnapp hair too. I'll bet the large flexi-rods would look even nicer on flat-ironed 4c hair. That would probably give the loose wavy curl pattern without the frizz (if you use a little thick hair butter on the ends to roll the flexi-rods). This is an option for naturals who are not against heat (straightening their hair).

  • came out nice

  • cant wait till my hair grows longer. My hair has no natural curl or spiral. Extra coarse so i am pretty limited.

  • Your hair looks very cute. Love your vids btw
