  • @angbuhangwrath This is 21st century. All Kirat or Kiratas must unify. In Nepal, Kirat is organizing an international conference call Kirat Mahotsav to safeguard common identity and development of Kirati culture, language and tradition. The three-day Mahotsav will be held at Tundikhel from April 12-14. Kiratis from Deheradhun, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Assam of India, Hong Kong, UK, Japan, USA and some other countries will participate in the function

  • @PARVEENAAM :)

  • @limburaju

In Nepal Rai, Limbu, Sunuwar, Yakkha make special home made wine called "rakshi" distilled from rice. Surprisingly chinese have a culture of distilling rice wine for thousands of years. In Japan this rice wine is called "sake" and in Korean "soju". This explained that Kirat not only is genetically Mongoloid race but also have many similar culture with other Mongoloid people such as chinese, japanese, korean. I heard that Kiratis utilize bamboo for many uses in their home.

  • During Kirat Mahotsav different Kirat descendants namely Rai, Limbu, Yakha, Sunuwar and minorities like Hayu, Surehlu, Jirel, Thami and many more will present different cultural shows. The three-day Mahotsav will be held at Tundikhel from April 12-14. This is the first step in realizing our KIRAT unity and sense of belongingness to be a proud Kirati. Unite Kirat for the development of Nepal.

    Jai Nepal !

  • @TaMaGuRaLi,

Kirat nationalities have more than 100 usages of bamboo from using "tama" or bamboo shoots as edible food to weaving baskets, to using as water pipes to making musical instrument etc.

Beside bamboo, Kirat nationalities also used countless number of plant and herbs as medicine.

    Look for this published research

and Practices of Kirata Nationalities with Special

    Focus on Biological Resources"

  • Outstanding performance. 5/5! Kirat Revivalism is a must in order to save our culture-language-religion and most importantly our Kirat identity. We have slept for too long. Now all Kiratas must unite to build Nepal.
