  • Will the EVGA GFX 550 ti 1 gig Graphics card fit in this?

  • Damn this cost so much , I liked more the Thermaltake V9 Black Edition wich is cheaper & comes with all fans included.

  • Are there front panel things for audio, usb, and sd card slots that you can buy that can go in the front

  • antec got it right with this case, this case has incredible dust filtration capabilities. I modded mine with a very nice custom made filter no dust will ever get inside.

  • This may be a stupid question but... does this case come with SD/XD Memory Card slots?

  • @tomyverce4 no

  • i was wondering id this case would fit a MSI Big Bang Xpower X58 ATX standard mobo

  • its onle 49.99

  • @Ramdompcgamer video was made in 2008...

  • @MobBossVidz i know on newegg its that much

  • @Ramdompcgamer yeah I just bought one at best buy @ 44.99 a few days ago, I'm just saying in the video the price is wrong because the video was made in 2008 when the case barely came out.

  • Whats up with the window?

  • Lol AGP cooling.

  • @whitexeno I said the exact same thing lol. technology...

  • Great info. Gonna pick one up. BTW You have such a good speaking voice lol.

A lot of reviewers I've seen either talk too fast (like the shamwoo guy), or talk monotone.

  • would a gtx590 fit in this case?

  • @magnificbeef As long as your motherboard has the right pci slot, then yes it will.

I'm assuming you need a pci-e x16 slot like most modern graphics cards these days.

  • @aaronr1v3r Yeah, my mobo will allow it, I was just wondering if the case was large enough, because on antecs website it sas the max video card length is 11 inches

  • do they give you 2 fans with the case that will fit in the front?

Or do you have to buy them yourself?

I noticed you said optional :L

  • And added to my last post, You can also buy another 120 mm fan for the panel, with my Hyper 212+ I have just enough room to add one. But I haven't yet. don't really need to.

  • Is this a cool case? I currently have a coolermaster 310 and have to take the side panel off because it's too hot.

  • @shotgunsam666 LMAO i had the same case and i was looking to buy this one too..

  • @shotgunsam666 If you grab the Antec 300 Ilusion (same case with 2 added front fans included) or just buy this case and two extra 120 mm front fans. I would say yes it's a cool case. All my stuff runs cool. Although I do have a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ heatsink/fans in a push pull setup on my CPU. Keeps my 4.5 Ghz OC'd 2500k under 56c at load. Also running an OC'd PNY GTX 460 XLR8 GPU with it's stock fan, have it at 900 / 2100 and it doesn't go above 78c at over 2 hours burn in full load.

  • @BrushyBill76 I have 2 120mm fans left over from my old case. I'm running everything at stock and I still get temperature problems. Motherboard can go as high as 90 degrees.

  • @shotgunsam666 get a heatsink

  • @dadslad125 I sorted the problem. With this case.

  • my cpu fan wouldnt fit the the case lid on. so i cut a hole in it.

  • Can I come work with you? If you're building custom PCs and modding cases, you're living my dream.

  • Just bought an Antec 300 from Newegg yesterday. 59.99 plus they had a 15.00 off promo code, the special promo code ends today by the way. So I got this for 44.99. Also it came with all 4 fans.2 fron 120mm, 1 rear 120mm, and the top 140mm. the 2 front and 1 top are also blue LED fans. Awesome deal for the price.

  • @BrushyBill76 4 Fans?

In Newegg it says it only comes with 2

  • @stellaras1995 Sorry, I bought the Antec Three Hundred Illusion. It comes with 4 fans 3 of which are LED. It's the same case though. And it was cheap.

  • I'd say Antec 300 and Thermaltake Element T are the best options for a mid tower at this price range, it's up to personal preferences which one you'll end up choosing. I prefer the Element T which is only about $10 more expensive. It has a bit more space and also ventilation at the bottom for the PSU, which the Antec 300 doesn't have. It also comes with 120mm rear and 200 mm ceiling fans, whereas the Antec 300 comes with 120 mm rear and 140 mm ceiling fan.

  • @destroyallhaha The HAF 912 plus is also a very good option for around the same price.

  • Best mid-range case, IMO.

  • Sold. Saw this in a computer store and thought I'd watch a review and see what it's like. Must say, very ingenious some of the features this thing has.

  • question: How does the motherboard mount into the case? I noticed that the PSU fits in the bottom, does it just fit above that? Will any ATX board fit?

I'm thinking about buying this case.

  • I agree with the reviewer. This is a great case for around £60, and it doesn't look silly like the top end ones do.

  • @TheZiqR I've heard good things about the ASRock Z68 Pro3 Motherboard, it's not expensive at all and it uses the newest technology. Look into that one, see if it works for you.

  • @TheZiqR How much can you spend

  • @TheZiqR a good case for the antec 300?

  • Nice review, thanks for the info.

  • It also is a SSD mount on the floor, so you can just screw it right in. Let me know if I should put out a video and show you :)

  • do you mount the power supply with the fan facing up or down?

  • @evspence1 the fan facing up

  • great review man really helped me to reassure my choice, thanks!

  • I like the noise he makes at 6:38. Sounds like a rattle snake. This guy does a better job at review than the 3dgameman Rodney the face maker.

  • Could I fit a 9 inch video card in there?

  • @dialupmoron i have a 10 inch video card in it (sapphire 6950 1gb). fits perfect but there shouldn't be an harddrives on the same level as the card.

  • @khosrow what about an 11.5 inch card?

  • @rocklebest i messured it. it should just fit.

  • @khosrow thanks a lot

  • whats the difference to the one hundred ?

  • Will it fit a Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B? I want it for a mod, but if my cooler won't fit i'll have to buy a different case...

  • Very informative, I'm looking at buying this. Originally I was heading for the 1200, but I figured I'd save £80 and go for this.

  • @Polyuncoki but the 1200 is way way way better dude, more fans and bigger fans, and bigger case :)

  • @AeroFix94 Dont forget the way way way higher price ;)

  • @adamtaylor100 Wow ok I'm definitely getting this. I have your specs except a GTX 560 Ti. I was wondering if I should get this

  • Comment removed

  • Frickin' nice, i'm gonna get it. I don't have a lot of money to spend.

  • Will an antec khuler box fit in this (it's as big as a hyper 212+)??

  • how much space is in there for a video card?

  • I've just finished a build with one of these. Great cases for the money imo, easy to use, douldn't fault it.

  • @1919k Hope you don't mind me asking, but is it easy to build your own PC nowadays? I'm finished with console gaming and wanna start building my own PC...

  • @AgentMcQueen It's not all that difficult tbh. It can be a bit fiddly at times installing the front panel pins and the heatsink fan but if you take your time and do the research to make sure everything's compatible you should be ok. I'd look at a few vids first on here to give you a good idea. Carey Holzman (from computer America) has posted a 2 hour video on building a pc. where he starts from scratch to completion. It's very informative and tells you everything you need to know.Good luck

  • @1919k Cheers!

  • @1919k any link mate

  • I just bought one of these and it came in today and I'm BLOWN away by its design. The guys at Antec went above and beyond on this. Ill SO be buying all my cases from them.

  • @adamtaylor100 absolutely

  • is there any way to remove the i/o shield?

  • @gpensky ofc, just push it out and put your own in there :D

  • Ordering this case today to upgrade my cheap one :)

  • Yeah... I'm so buying this case this week for my first build =)

  • good review. thx!!

  • Do you have to buy the hard drive bays seperately?

  • @xiaoxiao29 No.

  • awesome video. name of the intro song?

  • lol its John Travolta

  • will this case fit the nvidia 570 GTX or 580 GTX?

  • @constantgamer247 Without looking in to details, I'd say yes. I've used this very chassi for several builds with clients. Although it might not look that way. There actually is a sort of bracket blocking the graphic card's way where you are supposed to mount a fan. When I remove that (easily removable) I can fit almost any card.

  • @constantgamer247 it barely fit my 465gtx

  • horrible cable management with this case.

  • @hmwillow if your a noob

  • i bought this case due to this very review - thx Bill Owen

  • lol john travolta

  • would it fit the

-Ati Radeon HD 5850 graphics card and

-Antec 850W CP-850 CPX power supply

  • @Nipotius No

  • @Nipotius cm 690 ii advanced !

  • @Nipotius Yes i would fit it fine, i am currently running a corsair 850W HX power supply and dual GTX 470s with plenty of airflow, don't listen to these idiots who think you need a massive full tower to do anything!

  • @ProjectRealityBf2 not really antec 300 is old no cable management etc. i dont see why you would buy high end parts and cheap out on a case?

  • @SCoNeIRL dude because I don't need any fancy fucking leds or a glass side to show off the computers inside, I use if for gaming and surfing the net, I am glade I bought this case and I've had it from 2 builds ago and there was no reason to buy a new case because this case is built solid and has great airflow.....what more do you want from a case?

  • @ProjectRealityBf2 never said u do? dont know about you but this case is amazing, but its nearly 2011 and its hardly coping, i mean if all you want is a normal case nothin fancy?get this then? i was saying the coolermaster because its more easier to build ''no fancy side panel'' it has a front led that you can turn off more drive bays, bigger case more fans, cable management, style? want more? im only saying these things cos not everyone wants the basic?

  • @ProjectRealityBf2 cm 690 isnt a tower its roughly the same size 20$ more but worth it or cm storm scout for about 10$ more? u sir are the idiot

  • @SCoNeIRL What in the fuck are you talking about? $20 dollars is $20 dollars you fuck head, for all you know someone may want to spend only 50-60 dollars on a case and save that extra 20-30 to put towards some better memory or a bigger harddrive...you sir are the idiot, he asked if his video card would fit and you told him no when it would fit just fine, you really need to stop talking shit about stuff you have no clue about, he didn't ask for another case option, he asked if it would fit!

  • @ProjectRealityBf2 amen to that i have the antec 300 and it holds everything (wire managment included) just fing fine bad ass airflow, amazes me how much Bullshit people spew in these places.

  • This is a great case, I wasn't looking for spending too much and this looked real classy, my gpu use to run 39-45 c in my old case (running gtx 460 sitting on p5n-d), now it runs 25-30 idle and 40 on load, absolutely satisfied!

  • How come the guy in the review is talking about fan sizes in millimeters? Isn't he American? I thought you use inches there.

  • @Davez621

We use both. Inches are more common for everyday use but technical fields use metric, and computer parts can be either/or. Case fans are generally metric, while something like a hard drive would be in inches.

  • I have this case :)

  • Does the 600/900 versions also have the ability to remove the hdd bays cages?? Please answer :-)

  • antec 900 is a better looking / bigger case but this case has dust filters and way better inside alignment

  • Thanks for the review...I like this case!

  • does it come with screws to the motherboard etc. ? I lost mine XD

  • @joxxe94 it does

  • i barely got my 9800 gtx to fit in here

  • lol, he said AGP cooling. AGP is like... dead

  • And the motherboard tray is not removable

  • i love this case! if you ever need to put an ati 5970 in it you can take out the rivits that hold the hdd cage and put your hdd in the 5.25" bay!

  • wheres the tutorial for putting in a side window?

  • Can you hide PSU cables behind the side panel, not the windowed side panel, but the other one?

  • @Roetker7 no, the gtx 260 is touching the hdd cage so the 5970 is a no go.

  • @Roetker7

yes it will.. don't listen to the fags

  • Is this case dishwasher safe?

  • @Roetker7 it just dose a 5850... with the loss of 2 HDD spots.. but a 5970 (bahahahahaha) Good luck there Sir!

  • @Roetker7 no

  • @Roetker7 i don't think so

  • How's the cooling though?

  • Would this thing be any louder than a regular case? I'm keen to cool down the components but not if i have to constantly hear "wwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

  • @Roetker7 thats like putting a ferrari engine into a garbage truck

  • just bought this today

    love it

  • I'm gonna buy this next week

  • I have this case and it's just brilliant for the price, and i also added 2 120mm Special german fans at the front wich does 87cfm at 1200 rpm and only makes 19 db's at max rpm so it also have a great airflow and is pretty quiet at the same time.

  • just bought this today

  • will this fit cards up to 11 " ? (im thinking about the HIS ATI HD5850)

  • i got this case, its real good for air movment, kind of noisy tho

  • @jonmcc33 I haven't known much about computers for more then 2 years... im still learning new things =)

  • @jonmcc33 A great penis, jk, pretty much graphics cards

  • Would this case fit a Ati 5770 in crossfire? thx

  • $30 on newegg after $15MIR today only June 9 2010... Code: EMCYTYX25

Search on newegg: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

  • @stephenTcartwright, the beers haven't helped my gut...lol

  • @MonsterMawd Well Mr Cage, they haven't done wonders on mine either :p I bought this case because of this review. Best case ever for the price. Only thing I wish is that the HD bays should be side mounted and closer to the front so you could fit bigger GC's in.

  • would this fit a Micro-ATX mobo?

  • @thekyman21

Yes, mATX will fit with the antec 300

  • It's a good case! It's cheap, good build quality, has plenty of ventilation. The only bad point is that it's pretty bad for cable managment. It's fairly hard to sort all of your cables into some sort of order but it's still possible with a little bit of effort.

  • @Ahoydizzle, the antec 300 has very good cable management(CM), You have to put all the cables to the back. But I find the 300 CM is better than the 900. 300 took me less time, and I didn't drill any holes. =/

  • @FCKyoutrube Yea one of the ways i found around this was turn the fan speeds at the back and lower them at the front. Works quite well

  • I just got this case! I love it! $49 at Fry's!

  • Will a mATX fit in this? It stands only ATX on the site I want to buy it from, but my friend have a CM 333 and there also stands only ATX. But he has a mATX. So wtf :S

  • MNPCTECH!!

Your case reviews are always the most thorough and the best!!!! <3

    5*s!!

  • Two intakes at the front and one side intake would be a better layout i guess, this way you'll have 3 intake fans, 1 exhaust at the back, 1 at the top and the psu fan, which is also essentially an exhaust fan. 3+3

Correct me if I'm wrong. I just ordered this case and am considering this layout.

  • will my HD5850 fit in this?

  • Easily my Antec 200 the one lower than this fits everyting but the 5970

  • @ILikeKiks yes even the 5970 which i have right now with this case

  • 59.99 and 69.90 fuckff... hahha

  • I'm doubting this case has got enough to exhaust all that intake air, an extra fan at the top and I would be considering this.

  • hi, im kinda new to this and im going to buy a new computer, im actually going to build it myself and i wonder if this motherboard:

    ASUS P5E3 PRO, X48, Socket-775

    wich supports DDR3 ram

    will work with this grafficcard:

    Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5

notice the "GDDR5".. please help me!

  • yes it would work, the gddr5 is the 5770's memory.

  • thanks alot mate :)

  • To be honest mate, with all due respect, if you ask questions like that, it's obvious you don't know a whole lot about hardware. I suggest you read up on it before you start building a rig by yourself. You're likely to make mistakes you don't want to make. Go to overclockers com and post on the forums. They can help you out and teach you a lot of important things.

  • i bought my computer and it did actually work excellent :)

  • @PivotMartin Yes it will

  • if you can afford it, try to get an lga1156 socket motherboard, that is the way forward

  • very nice review, alot of info and pointing out the cool stuff. realy injoyable video.

buying this case soon, i have Acase big tower which is big, and heavy not good for traveling to different lan partys and i do not need the extra space :) thank you

  • Hey, quick question. Reckon I could fit my Asus Lion Square heatsink in to this case? As it is quite a big heatsink.

    Chris from Scotland

  • how tall is it? this is a big case. I don't see any issues.

  • i bought that case for 50 bucks brand new

  • I have this tower and I love him

  • This case has great airflow. i have 4 HUGE fans (watch my video) and its very nice! i can keep my new 8800GTS and my 3.3GHz OCED P4 (they get HOT!) at only 20c idle and 30c LOAD!

  • Can i install there mATX??

  • I need to buy a pc in parts (powerfull parts)

my brother is gonna build me a pc that can handle ever game

    like an alienware

  • ever?

  • @worklatergamenow

    12. april

all the parts will be ready then

  • alienware are for ppl that wastes money coz if u buy parts u save like 50% of what u would pay from an alienware with the same or even better parts so i recommend buying different parts not from a company

  • I gonna use ca. 400 $ to the parts i need

  • yea.. than just buy parts from computer shops.. its more worthy it than getting an alienware :)

  • Like an alienware but doesn't suck in every way.
