@iamlucyX You need to keep brushing until the 'afro' goes away. Most frizzing is a result of not enough brushing. My hair is much longer now so I have done quite a few videos for people w/ longer hair. And ilovegerardo has a version of this rockabilly bandana look for very long hair.

I love this look! My hair is a bit longer than yours though. What I do is put my hair in a ponytail and then curl is...then, of course, bobby pin the hell out of it (almost into a bun).

Yes it will. Sponge rollers will draw the length up considerably...then when you use the combs, you will just pin the additional fall out to your head.

Thanks iamaneysayer ( I just got that user name, cute!!). Yes this works well with short hair, depending on how short of course. If it's very short you could simply tease the hair at the crown and do the bandana for the same look. If it's chin length or so, it should still work just fine. You might require more bobby pins around the nape of the neck.
