This was little scary but i dont believe this really happen. i think since he was so young when this happen that with him being scared of the scarecrow Plus having to see the scarecrow all the time on his way home cause him to Dream this happening to him. Sometimes when your that young you can confuse Dreams with Reality.

However the most serious aspect of his abduction was the fact that no matter how loud he called out to his mother, she did not hear him, which to me suggests that he had an idealized image of his mother as one to keep him safe, when in reality she probably treated him with hostility, anger, indifference & didn't care what happened to him. @mozzmarket Japanese people do eat curry. But of course it's different from typical Indian curry. Japanese curry are less spicy and a bit sweet. Unlike Indian curry, Japanese curry aren't made with spice powder but typically, it is a sauce which comes in cubes in pre-made packets. It's not so funny that Japanese having curry for dinner now, does it, Mr. Ignorant? :)

@Annayiss5758 Its an old Japanese legend. Some Scarecrows are not really Scarecrows...They take children who lie and eat them, or make them into more of them. The reason the mother did nothing is because if a scarecrow has even the slightest touch on you, you become almost like a ghost...No one can see you, no one can hear you, but they can feel you, which explains the door thing.

@Citrusrock if u look closely the wierd drawin on the scarecrows face is actually a japanese alphabet. we call it "he no he no mo he" nd "He" is pronounced "hell" without the "ll's". ....u can try googling it and ull see the whole face. hope this helped.
