It would've been an ironic twist if one of them got killed in a drunk driving accident, and Nick was there to pick them up.

Pretty cool seeing this as a teen. I was glad seeing "Mark" from The Electric Company had found more work.

Oh, wow, epic episode. Garrette Morris and MORGAN FREEMAN in an episode directed by Wes Craven. My opinion of the 80s Twilight Zone isn't too high, but this episode was pure fun.
