  • you've just spent an entire video speaking in the most generalised terms possible! if you have a point to make about the quality of responses you've been getting, then perhaps it would help everyone if you cited specific examples. it's no good saying "back up your claims" to all of us, then failing to back up your own!

  • LOL I'm saddened now. You showed so much potential to be a great mind. But heres something to consider. When using the words "common scenes" and "Logic" in a argument that people should rely on the views of others. Be it professors or doctors. Or even specific events in life. Statistical data to prove "common scenes" or "logic".

  • Its just ridicules. I suggest rewording the comment. Common scene, or logic are not words that can be defined bye a specific view. They are terms used to describe a thought process. You can not research common scenes or logic. They represent choices made in specific events. That cater to a given individual.

  • For example. If I am trying to get on top of a building and there is a ladder in front of me. The "common senes, or logical" thing to do. Would be to use the ladder steps to clime up. This can be proven to work. But it may not be the best way for everyone. There for it can not be said for everyone.

  • It might not be the best idea for some one who is afraid of heights. The common senes thing for him would be to take the elevator then a door out to the top. Something of that nature. My point is that common senes and logic have very little to do with.....

  • research. Especially dealing with psychology or sociality.

  • Nice.

  • Directed at me perhaps? As far as I've seen. I am the only person on youtube who posts companion articles with sources on them. I honestly have not seen anyone else do that. If I haven't sourced something then point it out and I will.

  • No need to be paranoid. No, it was directed at people on comments pages who did not understand the cheapness of their opinions. Though you don't cite anywhere near the number of studies/articles that would make me happy; I do appreciate the effort you do put in.

  • Okay, thanks. You're going to have problems getting youtube to change. When I was in university I cited my sources like you say, but here it's a different environment. It's open to the commmon person, who is generally an idiot. That's why you won't get much conversation. The format almost completely prohibits it as well.

  • You made it up yourself

  • I don't understand what that means.

  • My comment"you made it up yourself" is not directed at iwentdowntotheriver it was directed at Arguseyes.

  • Thank you : )

This freakin' rocks! Keep it up!

  • yeh yeh!! keeeeeeeeeep posting! i think people have such giant egos sometimes that they won't admit when they are wrong.. let alone actually trying to do what you say - consider the possibility of the opposite claim and the possibility that their claims could be less than true!

add that to the anonymity here --- if only there were more people like you on youtube instead of the general concern for further justifying one's own beliefs!!
