If the ZO6 is 8x as much at 75K, then the evo is 10K, which is about what it will be worth after the "two big turbos" turn in to a bomb. Make sure you add in ($50) an ad for the Auto Trader in your quote "FOR SALE, EVO, no engine, 10K OBO". Now, go back to playing Grand Turismo on XBOX so you can fantasize so more.

How do you know what tire he is running? There is simply no way you can tell from this video. At 750 horsepower if he was running something that isn't going to hook, it would probably have blown off at 60 MPH as well.
A properly setup RWD car will amaze you on launch. My car improved more from suspension changes (alot more) than from going to a drag radial over a street tire.
this is exactly why the americans do performance the best. you can always rely on american muscle to pound out massive horses while avoiding forced induction, usualy giving the engine lots of potential. then once you add a supercharger or turbo yourself, you have virtually eliminated all competition. many people don't believe there's no replacement for displacement, but those are the ones who need to take their heads out of their asses.
this video is to show thats turbos dont exist just for european and japanese sport cars and when american muscle install these equipments theyr have all the advantage because have lots of displacement ! lol
@ZR1Terror I'm a corvette fan and have been for a long time, but there are some EVOs that are just plain nasty. This was no shock though. the Supercharged C6s are what I am starting to see everywhere. 600 rwhp is easy with them and they trap in the 130s still on 93 octane. It could have run with this EVO as well.

Also if they had the same power, the vette would still win once you pass the 60', the vette is lightweight, aerodynamic with better gear ratios, the tires are twice as wide out back and that's where the weight is, and before you bring the handling up, know that the corvette also handles and brakes excellent.
@Cloudstrife1188 Both are made from racing though and on an autox track an evo would prolly win, point is real world driving vettes are sick. Plus any automaker can boost an engine and make 100+ per liter. 7.0L, it's significant for a lot of reasons. Considering its size that engine is light, gets awesome gas mileage, cubes don't really matter as far as im concerned, as for technology, as far as i know the evo isn't even dry sump. The Z06 is one of the most capable cars made.

How do you know what tire he is running? There is simply no way you can tell from this video. At 750 horsepower if he was running something that isn't going to hook, it would probably have blown off at 60 MPH as well.
A properly setup RWD car will amaze you on launch. My car improved more from suspension changes (alot more) than from going to a drag radial over a street tire.

this is exactly why the americans do performance the best. you can always rely on american muscle to pound out massive horses while avoiding forced induction, usualy giving the engine lots of potential. then once you add a supercharger or turbo yourself, you have virtually eliminated all competition. many people don't believe there's no replacement for displacement, but those are the ones who need to take their heads out of their asses.

@ZR1Terror I'm a corvette fan and have been for a long time, but there are some EVOs that are just plain nasty. This was no shock though. the Supercharged C6s are what I am starting to see everywhere. 600 rwhp is easy with them and they trap in the 130s still on 93 octane. It could have run with this EVO as well.

@Cloudstrife1188 That's a dumb comment, plus I guarantee you search around you'll find a lot more corvettes running 10's and under in the 1/4 than evos. Also if they had the same power, the vette would still win once you pass the 60', the vette is lightweight, aerodynamic with better gear ratios, the tires are twice as wide out back and that's where the weight is, and before you bring the handling up, know that the corvette also handles and brakes excellent.

Plus any automaker can boost an engine and make 100+ per liter. 7.0L, it's significant for a lot of reasons. Considering its size that engine is light, gets awesome gas mileage, cubes don't really matter as far as im concerned, as for technology, as far as i know the evo isn't even dry sump. The Z06 is one of the most capable cars made.

Just so you know it would have been worse down low, lol. LS3 C6 436 STOCK - Evo 300 stock? Both weigh the same (3200), do the math- The Vette is your better bang for the buck. You have to mod your cars to keep up with stock American cars, yours come with LESS from the factory (torque especially). Just the way it is, get over it.
