As an enormous celtic fan, i was saddened that big all had to go. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love KG, but big al was fun to watch. I will definitely be supporting the T-wolves as long as he's there.

He's (obviously) posting stats better than KG did in his 4th season, but he'll never be considered "better" than KG. KG has tons of charisma, he's one of the greatest leaders of all time, he makes EVERYONE on the floor with him TONS better. Big Al doesn't do that, he dominates the post, but he doesn't LEAD like Garnett does. Maybe over the course of his career he will emerge as a leader, heck, it wasn't until KGs 4th season that he emerged as THE player on the Timberwolves. GO AL, GO WOLVES!

Al Jefferson was not involved in the Foye and Roy deal. But i gotta say, in the long run, the wolves got a pretty good trade through Garnett. Jefferson, Gomez, Smith and Green are all good ball players and they are all very young. Al Jefferson is the franchise player right now and i see a bright future for the T-Wolves organization.

Go Wolves! Mchale took a big risc by trading KG, but a superstar who knows his team won't improve during the offseason, isn't going to be very motivated. I think he took the right decision by trading him for a lot of young, talented players. I don't see them becoming number 1 in the West, but we'll see what happens.
