In a read wheel drive doenst work. As everybody knows, to have more power on brakes in the read helps to make the corner or stabilize the car, but just if you have a front traction, not rear. Anyway, l agree about the ECU :-)
@Gasoline2009 Adjustment of the bias on a rear drive rally (or race) car is very useful. Bias toward the rear causes the back end of the car to squat, making it stable under very hard baking. Bias toward the front causes the back lift & go light, making it want to overtake the front, this can aid swinging the car round into sharp corners (or the scenery if one gets it wrong). Additionally it allows the driver to compensate for variation in tyre grip levels as they wear.

@ow1ShinoXr It's to enable the driver to clearly distinguish between surfaces with good grip and those where it's more likely to be variable. You could translate it in the drivers head as "be ready to maybe use less throttle than I would normally for this type of corner".

@Gasoline2009 It is probably the brake bias adjuster. Works rally cars had a screw adjuster that altered the front/rear balance of the braking system.
These cars did not have ECUs, they had flat slide carburettors or occasionally mechanical fuel injection

@ow1ShinoXr It's to enable the driver to clearly distinguish between surfaces with good grip and those where it's more likely to be variable. You could translate it in the drivers head as "be ready to maybe use less throttle than I would normally for this type of corner".
