Thank you John, for the priceless gift of being able to express what we all feel. We miss you so much. The music world is richer for your contribution. It is sadder with your absence.

I sang this song to my son when I held him right after he was born,. I had to put my son up for adotion for personal reasons, I only got to hold him a couple of times, please god let my son know I love him.
John Denver was a poet and a treasure to words. His lyrics should be counted as a grand literature to the United States of America. Say what you will about his politics, his religious views, or his views on the enviroment--the man cared for our world and was a poetic genius. May he forever be in our hearts and minds.
What Would John Denver Do?(WWJDD) If you truly respect John Denvers love for nature, don't stay silent. Search Colorado chemtrails and see for yourself what they have done to Johns beloved sky in Colorado and around they world. If this song makes you cry, you will be in horror about what is happening to our sky and sun from spray planes. Look up, speak up, do it for John Denvers beautiful legacy, he would not have stayed silent. WWJDD
I can never make it through this song with dry eyes. Lord knows I've tried but I can't. It's even more poignant now that John has moved on. I believe that beauty like this exists and that the person who brings it to the rest of us is a blessed vessel. This beautiful song would have had to be expressed at some point, but Creation gave John the blessed talent to be its voice. What a voice it is.
love this tune, the pics in this video are simply beautiful, thank you so much for posting and shareing it with all of us, john was an amazing person who we all lost much too early, bless him
The scenes & the song should remind those of us 'who believe' of what we will one day wake to see on the other side of this sad and evil place, which, with each passing day, becomes less and less 'our home'. Let us work hard today for what needs to be done, what needs to be said, for very soon, we will be able to work no more. God Bless you and we will all rejoice together on the other side where Our Father will wipe away all the tears... hold tight to the faith forever more... your sister
Most popular songs only last 3 minutes, or less. His go for 4 to 5 minutes in many instances. Thanks, John. RIP! (Sure wish you'd stayed out of that X-craft & conformed to the status of your license (suspended). Sad, really sad.
i grew up in Colorado. In a Bear Creek High School psych class we had to fill out a profile with, among other things, our favorite song. I put this one. Caught a lot of flak for it at the time from my skiing and rock climbing buddies. (Stairway to Heaven was our prom theme.) That was 35 years ago. I don't know -- still sounds pretty good to me.
my music teacher turned on the radio and we heard this song and it almost made me cry. it was so beautiful. i love john denver's songs especielly this one. i love the pictures to.
Our dad never liked anyone who had long hair. So he didn't care for John Denver then. When we were little we'd have to listen when he wasn't around. He was put on hospice the year after John Denver died. In his bed he heard this song from our CD. He wanted to hear it again. He really liked this song. I couldn't help thinking of him today so I wanted to hear this song. If something happens to my mother now 80, I may decide to go join them. I'd get to meet John Denver for the first time.
Its 1 of kind nobull. I thank the lord everyday that all my familys still with me(Im 43) Losing a loved one is a heart wrenching thing and the closest i came was with losing my grandpa whom i was extremely close to(conrail truck train accident) I pray your mother lives over 100 and many joyfull years ahead :)
great scenery ,and beautiful lyrics ,just love the film,i am from the uk and cant buy this film here, but i saw it over 30 years ago and never forgot it
I used to sing this song to my friend Johnny who was blind & non-verbal, but he loved music. He used to get a big smile on his face and laugh and clap his hands when he heard this song. My dear Johnny went home to God and this song just touches my heart and reminds me of my sweet friend Johnny and his smile.
