this is very true. I have made great grades in high school without studying but i am in my second semester of law and, in my first semester i failed two courses because i went in there with the same mentality. Now Ive got to change my way of thinking if I want to make the same A's in University as I did in High school.

I've been out of college for awhile now, and I wish someone would have told me this info BEFORE I started... everything she said here is SOOOOO true. I thought I was going to b a CPA... instead I'm a registered nurse and I love my job most of the time :) Probably could've saved quite a bit of $ and time if I would've heard this. As a person who's already in college, the things or better yet, the mindset that I have now, I wish I did as an incoming freshman, 'cause it would've made all the difference on where I'd like to be at right now. Study groups, front row, office hours, e-mailing teachers, establishing that 1-1 connection/communication w/ the professors - crucial! But the best advice is the first thing you said., "Party hard, study harder." If anyone studies as hard as they party, they're well on their way.
