I am sorry to hear about Shawn. I had a Bedlington, Bo Peep, and she lived to age 14. I hope Bo Peep is taking care of Shawn at the Rainbow Bridge until you can get there to pick him up.

He was so young. How did he die? I sure hate to hear that. They are such wonderful and sweet dogs. I love mine to pieces. I have had her for four months and I will always own a bedlington.

So sorry you lost Shawn too soon. My mother ADORED Bedlingtons! Shortly after I was born, 4 Bedlington pups named Annabelle, Amber, Amos & Andy were born in our home. As I grew up came 8 more litters: Bambi, Bliss, Cha Cha, Cinderella, Drummer Boy, Dexter, Ember, Figaro, Gala, Hector, Ichabod and Indigo. Indigo was the last and she chose ME!, the only time a dog was 'mine'. I cherish her memory as you do Shawn. They were all sweetie-pies, full of love, and full of life!

Nice tribute to a great (Liver) Bedlington terrier. How did Shaun die? coppertoxicosis? He will be waiting for you I'm sure. I had six livers, but saddly Betty (aged 11) died almost a year ago this September with Cushings disease. Brian

I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful animal and a treasured friend. I loved your tribute, made me cry but that's a good thing sometimes. He'll always be in your heart, but I've learned that there are always other wonderful creatures that just come along at the right time and they will catch your heart too. I am so sorry for your loss. I have a bedlington terrior who looks alot like yours, just a different colour! Mine is 1 now his name is mikey! So your dog was only 2 when he died, thats so sad! =( I feel really sorry for you they are such a lovely breed!
