I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that because a person can hold a high note for a long time, that makes them a better singer than others, because that's what impresses people, and what makes them stand up and cheer. Charice impressed people here because she was nine and held incredibly high notes for a length of time, but if you listen, she hasn't really developed that amazing voice she has now. She's kind of pitchy. Just to be honest.

you cant compare.rachels character in Les Mis was small and scared and innocent..almost waiflike & truly a victim of circumstance.it was supposed to be sad, angelic, ethereal.and it was.
