I just read the new Halo: The Flood book, and in the end is a record kept by Thel Vadam about the events of Halo 1. One part read "[random elite] and Sesa Refumee sent to Forerunner Gas mine against Thel Vadam's will". I was like "Oh cool, the Heretic Leader from Halo 2"
Did anyone notice about when Sesa powers his jetpack down it sounds exactly like the UNSC jetpack from Halo: Reach? Oh yeah, you should be able to pilot the Type-31 XMF (Seraph lol) on this part.
That would be a cool equipment idea for the next game: target an enemy, release the holograms, and they distract with minimal-damaging weapons while you go in for the kill. Quick, somebody put that in a memo to 343 Industries!
Oh, and, Flood vs. Humans/ Brutes vs. Elites Invasion gametypes, multiplayer space-combat, and the ability to hijack and pilot SCARABS... please.
@TheMarioLuigiMan meone explain to me why the heretic was right? the halo series story was hard for me to follow. Maby i can help you with that. if you would like to understand and learn about the halo story
I wonder what would have happened if the heretic elite didn't shoot the arbiter when the monitor said "more questions splendid?" it looked like he was gunna figure it out until he got shot.
Sesa (heretic leader) may have been right but it doesn't help he so contradictory. He asks Thel (the Arbiter) to question 343 for answers and before he can do so fires at him.
ok, i understand 99% of the Halo series storyline, but, when did Mercy die?
~~*SPOILER ALERT!*~~
Iknow that regret got beatdown by the Chief in halo 2 and in halo 3 truth was made a shishkabob by the arbiters energy sword, but, when did the prophet of mercy die?
@IhearaHunter117 He died on High Charity when he and truth were getting on the forerunner ship to go to earth. They got jumped by flood infection forms and he was the only one attacked so they left him. When the chief shows up he exchanges a few words then removes the infection form which ended up killing him.
n the cutscenes of Halo 2, when 343 Guilty Spark talks his light glows brighter, but during gameplay in Halo 2 when he talks his light grows dim. This is a programming glitch, where he was supposed to do the opposite, and is referred by Joseph Staten as:
"the most terrible glitch in Halo 2... and nobody cares about it."
I'm serious. Guilty Spark was so annoying in Halo: CE whenever he talked. Even though he was a big part of the plot, I still hate it whenever he talks on and on in that voice of his.
The guy with the red armor is the Heretic Leader, he knows the truth about halo.
The guy with the silver/gold armor is the Arbiter, he was sent to silence the Heretic leader. The Arbiter is sent on suicide missions, so he was expected to die after/while killing the Heretic.
this guy must have run into 343GS at some point and found out Halo is..... what it is, the last resort killing machine. Either he brought his findings to the council and was marked a non-believer, or more likely to escape the high likely hood of execution for saying such things, took those he could convince with him and fled, setting up this colony in the ruins of Installation 04. Where and how he met the monitor was never really delved into.
I know. "Here is why I am this way." *starts shooting* "He'll tell you their lies." *throws a plasma grenade* "You should join me." *Gets fuel rod canon* "C'mon, join me!" *Opens fire*
They believe that the Halos will lead to some gradn revelation when really they are a weapon against the flood. The forerunners activated them and destroyed all sentient life in the galaxy... It'll do the same thing if they're activated again
The phrophets didnt know that the halo rings would destroy them. They belived that by activating all the halos they would be sent to a destination where they would have unlimited power. this is where they think the foreunners went. being sent to that destination is what they think the 'the great journey' is.
No kidding, too bad he didn't get destroyed in the destruction of Halo. He does finally serve some kind of purpose at the end of the game though, thankfully.
The Monitor always calm as it can be~ xD
