Not really... You could safely put about 120lbs on a pony that size... Nana Janet was obviously a little heavy, but smaller adults can very safely ride some larger ponies.

Being related by blood means nothing, n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Thousands of people are adopted and there birth parents are just a faceless person in the crowd but there adopted parents are there everything to them.
There are so many reasons to so many people that those related by blood mean less to them then a loving stranger.
i love jon and kate plus 8 and the gosselins! alexis gets her outgoing and wild personality from nana janet, because when alexis was a baby she used to bond with janet, and i guess it just rubbed off.
