The white button on screen is the "AssistiveTouch" feature in iOS5. It's basically a virtual "Home" button right on your screen. It's a great feature if you suddenly find your home button not working or malfunctioning or if you simply want to keep your button from wearing out prematurely. I keep mine 'ON' I find it very convenient.

To turn this feature on go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility. Scroll down to find the “AssistiveTouch” option. Tap and set the “AssistiveTouch” option to ON.

@zachychan1818; if you can find an iPhone 4S camera somehow and you can also get the back cover for it too then I think you can but it might have different dimensions with how the phone's insides are. Depending on if you took apart both phones one might be changed around but it doesn't hurt to try it.., so I say go ahead and let us know :)

I don't know if anyone has said anything about what the white dot is..., but it is called AssistiveTouch..., which allows you to use the iPhone if you have difficulty touching the screen or if you require an adaptive accessory. Basically you make gestures for different functions and it will do it but I haven't really figured it out in it's entirety.., maybe someone else will.

The white dot is for Assistive Touch on the iPhone, iPod and iPad. Its new in iOS 5.

Go to Settings> General> Assisitive Touch = On.

I have 2 questions for you

1- This new screen looks a lot more "yellow" than my OEM screen, is it normal, will the yellowness go away? or is it like that for ever?

2- the home button feels a little loose, but I cant remember if it was like that before. If I push at the top ov the button the lower part sticks out a little bit, did I do something wrong?

he needs to re-seat the antenna again. If the phone doesn't get signal very well its for one of two reason's 1. you have at&t (shitty service or 2. unseated antenna

Help me please i put the back see through cover on and everything went fine until one screw was giving me a problem to put back all the way in flush so in the process one got striped its not flush and it sticks out a bit. The phone and everything works fine but im just upset that the screw sticks out a bit any advice on what to do? And has this happen to u before?.

@ricanchulo21 Yes this has happened.. If you stripped the screw you will have to replace it. I hope you didn't strip the plate screw hole. Take off the plate and try the screw just into the screw hole
