  • Every summer do i and my family travell by car from sweden to trondheim, from linkoping where i live, it takes about 14 hours to get to trondheim, i enjoy the way to trondheim. I use to be in kolstad near city syd and tyholt where my grandparents and uncles live, i really like to travell to trondheim, now im 17 and have been in trondheim 7 summers, 1 winter, i remember my childhood when i travell there:D such a nice place

  • OOO ROSENBOOOOOOOOORG

  • haha i live there :DD

  • How are the internet prices over there ?

this city sounds like people rarely see the sun !

  • Quick question: Trondheim or Bergen - which is better for living in quiet and peacefulness?

  • @thylegion Well if you like rain ALL THE TIME, Bergen is the place.

  • @0pteryx or come live with me! UK wales it rains EVERYDAY it gets on my nerves, its dark and grey every year. We have no summers and NO winters wtf.

  • @thylegion I live in bergen and im not sure how "quiet and peaceful" it is compared to trondheim. I would probably go for trondheim. And it rains alot in bergen.

  • very old and very boring city

  • @Narminabest Its not boring, I live there and It`s things to do anywhere. If a city is old, it doesn`t mean its boaring. Its just much culture ;)

  • It's beautiful! I've been to Kristiansand in 2003 and in Trondheim in 2009. I've stayed both times for a whole month. There's plenty to see and where to go. Nice

  • faen får en støgg musikk :P video bra.. :)

PS Gabe: You didnt talk to the rigth pepole. I would give you a hell of a time on the town here saturday night :P haha :) Im sad you where bored

  • I went to Trondheim last summer.

I liked it! But I must say that there isn't much things to do there. Pretty small. A bit expensive.

I wouldn't recommand it unless if you're really near by. Nothing special. But it's a cute little city, that's all.

  • du den musikken dær dræp mæ jo Skru den av!

  • Some day I want to go kayaking on Nid river.

  • WONDERFUL CITY!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • I agree with you. Trondheim is a beautiful city. Thank you for your comment.-)

  • I live there..:P

    Nydelig sted og bo!

    Lovley place to live!

  • It looks like such a placid place. I'd love to live there. Is it hospitable to older people (I'm 63) ?

  • my friend Norway loves elder citizen mainly coz it dominated by them lol but trust me Trondheim is an excellent place to live in except in winter^^

  • Hi, i live in Trondheim and have done so my whole life. the city center itself might not be the best place, the rents are quite high and it's a bit noisy. however the public transport is some of the best in europe. busses go every 10-15 minutes from/to every destination. and the public transport prices are really cheap aswell.

And the best thing is that you got 1 big mall with everything from dairy stores to video games. and 2 smaller malls with alot of clothes, jewlery etc.. Youre welcome

  • I've been to Trondheim.

The public transport was ok (given the fact that is it a tiny city after all) But I wouldn't say it's one of the best in Europe.

I'd say usually major cities in europe have the best like Paris, Berlin, Madrid etc...

As a whole, it is very difficult to get around Norway. I was in Gjora and Sunndal and it was difficlt to get around .You definitely need a car there!

  • Whole Norway is hospitable to everyone (Junkies, Criminals, Unemployed, Elders etc..)

so it doesent matter what city. But I would prefer Trondheim over Oslo and Bergen.

  • yes it is

  • @hrprada yes, it is hospitable to older people, at least as far as i know. My grandparents live here, so do I, and we love it!:D

  • @hrprada everything our beloved elders need ^^

  • I really love Trondheim

  • Very nice pictures of my little city :-) Love it,and love to live here :-) Did you know that it`s over a thousand years old? :-) Proud to be a "trondhjemspi" ;-)

  • haha, "trondheimspjokk" her :)

yeah it had 1000 year celebration in 1996 :) as far as i can remember ^^ but after 1000 who's really counting?

  • hmm... 1997 is probably more correct, since the city was founded in 997 :p dumbass

  • I was there yesterday, my town is 20 min away.. i love my town, but shopping.. no good :-/

  • It's a pity - bit mysterious houses on the top of the hills (1:44 and 1:46) didn't get more attention

  • Yes, it is almost impossible to take all the attention the city deserves. There is still plenty to see for a next visit :-)

  • There's (almost) no ugly city in Europe, especially in Scandinavia

  • Beautiful city!

  • I agree with you:-)

  • i was 5 day there with my school and i come yesterday it's so beautiful city and i love that old wood houses in colors.... and people are so nice and friendly

  • Det er fin by, jeg kommer herifra. Men det er ite sol dager her :(

  • How beautiful!!! If they ever need a city for elves..in the movies, of course.send them to Trondheim!

  • Yes, Trondheim is a very special city:-)

  • God please take me there ... its very beautiful and my heart is there

  • This is beautiful!!! Thank you for posting!:)

    Grandma Mary

  • Thank you. I am glad you liked the video:-)

  • OMG HELVETES DRITTMUSIKK

  • Hail the immortal Trondheim!!!

  • I'm really proud for living in this town :)

  • me to:-)

  • I went last year..I liked a lot the city...I would like to return...but it's a litle far from the south of Italy where I live.

  • That goes for me (living in the Netherlands) too !

  • even though I'm not from there i have to admit i'm really impressed

  • trondheim is a beautiful city

  • aah, my beautiful hometown : - D <3

  • Next time check out "Nieuw-Holland" (Ilsvika) and Møllenberg - the true original wooden house areas :)

  • Ah, I never get sick of seeing the beautiful city of Trondheim, which is my hometown. In this video you had almost every amazing place in Trondheim. The two places I can think of weren't in the video was Festningen (The Fortress) and the island Munkholmen, which is about 400-500meters from the docks. I hope you went to see them both, even though they weren't in the video. Good montage.

  • Thank you. Our stay in Trondheim was too short. We were there for 1,5 day. Alas we did not visit Festningen and the island Munkholmen. It is a good reason to return to Norway and your beautiful city. There are many places in Norway I still want to visit.

  • An interesting picture gallery. I'm going to visit Trondheim soon. Greetings.

  • excelente!!! breve y muy bueno!!!!!, mas!!! calles en navidad, con otoño, con nieve!!!!! gracias!!!!!

  • Thank you! If you want to see snow just look at,"Germany: Impressions of the Sauerland".

  • Spilte du på synt`n med et knippe gulerøtter?
