amazing aye great camera angles, this is the thing man when I saw this It just makes more balls explode at the thought of dragonball z being done with modern animation, imagine frieza's fight with this incredible animation. But at the moment this is certainly what to me would of been the evolution of dragonball z fights which was crazy when first saw them as kids.
Aside from some elementary school drama silliness, it's a very intense show with some waaay out-there ideas, quantum physics stuff.
Fukurou (red hair) is trying to take Haruka (not shown) back to his world to stabilize it, Karasu wants to stop him.
This isn't really the "main conflict", just a cool fight, of which the show has several. There's a lot more to the show than that, PM me if you want to know more. Or just watch the show.
That's true, but I only had 500 characters to give a recommendation, explanation, and a little context. On the upside, Youtube has made me better at summarization.
The reason it's such a good fight (probably the best I've seen in any anime) is because it's so fast paced. There's no stopping for bullshit talking nobody cares about, they talk while they're fighting.
I LOVE Noein, and their fighting style; although I thought it was totally bizarre at first, it grew on me. :) I think it looks way scarier and real this way. :) Plus, even if it looks "bad", all of the other animation throughout the show makes up for it.
I really like the animation style in this show, I am a little disappointed that most of the fighting sequences are shot in 2s (12 frames per seconds instead of 24). Maybe they ran out of time or money and couldn't afford someone to do in-betweens?
Actually, I think it was a design decision. Some of the CG is simply unbelievable, so it's not like they COULDN'T have had smoother animation for the combat sequences. After all, it makes it look more like a comic.
@kikigerms I always thought of it as a style choice. The fights get kinda crazy and frame-by-frame art style helped to facilitate that. I feel like that's what made the fight scenes stand out more compared to other anime that i've watched.
@Thatguy80111 I think there lacks some in-betweens, I think they got the timing down really good, they did hold longer frames at certain spot and you can tell they did that intentionally. But there are there lacks the easing in and out of those moments. It is very apparent especially in the 1st sequence. But that's just my personally opinion. I wish they had added more frames to maximize the fluidity the poses in the key frames suggest.
This anime has a rather eclectic and strange animation style to it that's not really like much else, is it?
I mean, sometimes it's intentionally fuzzy, or the characters look like they've just been penciled. Other times the animation is glossy and looks really big-budget. But through it all, everything is animated smoothly. I guess that's what grabs me about Noein.
You should definitely watch the anime then, because not only is this fight beautifully animated - it's in an old hand drawn style with high detail and stylish shading/warping of the image - but the emotion in this fight by this point in the series is the other half of what made it so powerful to the viewer.

It looks like hand drawn images are moving on the screen. The art style is really interesting. Should I watch this anime?

what i liked more from is is that all the camera movement... something lacking in so many anime fights

@ShadowSoldior instead of them talking, it keeps cutting to haruka running around... :P
eSpyre 1 year ago
@eSpyre Well this is the largest portion of the fight, isn't it?
ShadowSoldior 1 year ago
@ShadowSoldior Well there are two cuts (three if you count the end) where it should have jumped to another scene, whole section is about 5 mins iirc.
eSpyre 1 year ago
I love the way the characters move so fluidly and the scratchiness they put with the movements makes it all the more intense :D
